Introduction
Workplace transformation is the process in which a company adopts change and
innovation in their workplace to attain organisational aim and objectives. It is the rethinking of
flexible work spaces to accommodate various kinds of work, technologies and workers
(Tortorella, Fogliatto and Jurburg, 2021). It enhances employees engagement and resulting in
retention of employees within workplace. The selected organisation with project Deloitte. It is
one of multinational professional services network which is serving in over 150 countries. This
report covers research aim and objectives, literature review, project management plan and data
analysis part.
Project aim and objectives
Aim: “To determine the key drivers that influence digital workplace transformation within a
business environment”. A case study on Deloitte.
Objectives:
To understand about the meaning of digital workplace transformation within a workplace.
To determine the key drivers to influence digital workplace transformation within
Deloitte working environment.
To analyse the requirements of technology for employees of Deloitte to carry out their
roles and collaborate.
Project management plan
Project management plan is the plan which is usually focusing on planning of all
activities conducted during project in most appropriate manner (Fredberg and Pregmark, 2021).
It involves all the factors such as scope, cost, resources and quality etc. to determined
information in most effective manner. This is mentioned below:
Scope: The scope of present research is wide and results in gaining higher opportunities.
It is because digital workplace transformation resulting in being updated towards
technologies and making changes in present business activities. It is to adopt new normal
and adopting updation in technologies and other types of requirements. So that is why the
scope is very broad.
Cost: It is an essential factor in project management plan, as it is a cost which is
involving while conducting this research. It is the cost which is allocated with the

activities. The managers of Deloitte company are having enough funds to conduct this
research. The amount needed for conducting this research project is $7000 which helps in
completing all the activities.
Time: The time invested within current research is about 10 weeks in which research has
to be completed (Broo, Lamb and Zomer, 2021). Further researcher is using Gantt chart
and WBS to make a schedule and complete research project on a shorter time period.
This helps in achieving project aim and objectives on definite time.
Communication: Communication is the another factor of project planning because it is
important to communicate with respondents in order to complete questionnaire form.
Further, there are two types of communication methods such as verbal and nonverbal
communication. In this research, researcher is using verbal method to develops answers
from respondents. This helps in getting true and reliable data and information about
particular topic.
Quality: Quality is one of the factor used by researcher to analyse information and data
in most effective. Because if quality is better, then audience will get interest in that ( Hu,
Barber, and Day, 2021). Further, researcher is getting information through both primary
and secondary data collection methods because primary data involves first and primary
informational and secondary data brings in-depth knowledge. They are analysing various
books and articles to gain true and reliable information which provides better quality.
Resources: There are some of the resources which are needed to complete this project on
time period. It is important to have enough funds and capital to conduct research. The
resources needed for this research is books, articles, respondents, stationary and
manpower etc. complete it in effective manner. It helps in attaining it in most effective
and timely manner.
Risk: There could certain risk which comes while conducting project (Elliott, 2021).
Within current study, the major risk comes are lack of financial resources, lack of time
management, lack of interest of people while giving answers etc. it is important to
consider these risk in mind while conducting research to complete it in effective manner.
Gantt chart
Gantt chart is a type of bar chart which helps in illustrating project schedule. It shows
dependency relationships that is between activities and current schedule status. It consists of

horizontal and vertical axis on a chart. Horizontal axis represents project activities. On the other
hand, vertical axis consist of time required to complete project. It helps in completing research
on shorter time period.

WBS
It refers to the tool of project management that is used for classifying segmentation of
overall activities. It helps investigator in dividing the whole project into some tasks so that it
could be completed in shorter time (Giuseppe, Zoboli and Gualtieri, 2021). It becomes easy to
lead and study within given frame. It is in hierarchy manner which helps in completion of project
in most systematic manner.
