INTRODUCTION
The concept of development refer to a phenomenon of bringing something new or
modify the existing one with better option with an aim of making high productivity and
enhanced outcomes that provides a scope of competitive advantage to the firms.
Development is something which is essentially required in each organisation because of the
two major factors that is dynamic external market environment and another is growing needs
of customers day by day (Betts, 2020). Development in any organisation can be done through
enhancement or up-gradation in technology which they use either in their operations or in
their manufacturing process which brings best results or outcomes. Globalisation refers to a
concept of doing trade at global level which is commonly refereed as international trade.
Globalisation creates a huge impact upon a country or a region as this involves generation of
high revenues to the firm but brings increment in country’s foreign exchange along with high
brand image at regional and international level. The present report is based upon a discussion
upon development of technology and impact of social media upon the companies. Further, it
also includes globalisation phenomenon which has an impact upon country or region along
with its positive and negative effects. Vodafone is a company which is being considered for
the report.

The concept of technology depicts adoption of machines, techniques, tools and
materials which makes the work easy and highly productive. Technology is a phenomenon
that makes the things to happen in real context. The term development and technology both
are nearly related with each other. Development means any kind of modification within
existing method or process of work that brings better and productive results. Development is
a need of the hour in this dynamic market environment as well as in a market where
consumers demands for highly developed product each day (Bhatti and et. al., 2021).
Companies bring development in their business through bringing high technology or
innovation within their operations or process. The development which is being seen in
companies or in economy is just because of latest technology which every business firm
leverages in their organisation. Through the use of technology the companies becomes highly
efficient as compared to before the indulgence of better technology as this helps them to
