INTRODUCTION
Health disparities refers preventable differences in the burden of injury, disease and
violence for achieving optimal health National Center for Health Statistics (US. (2016). This
study is going to show some reasons as well as impacts on the health of indigenous people which
experience health disparities.
MAIN BODY
Reasons that why indigenous people globally experience health disparities which impact their
health
Discussion: Indigenous people are known as culturally distinct societies which consider
themselves different from other communities and are extreme poor. In the context of life
expectancy, it can be said that they have approximate 20 years lower life expectancy than non-
indigenous people Lawrence & et.al., (2019). There area several reasons of health disparities in
indigenous people such as: poverty, educational inequalities, improper and inadequate access to
health and care services, environmental threats etc. Some common threats and issues which
indigenous people are facing include:
State discrimination, in which non-indigenous people consider indigenous people differ
and treat them in different ways, they also make tactical use of violence.
Indigenous people do not have access to legal avenues.
Identification
There are several multiple factors which are increasing health disparities such as:
Some behavioural factors.
Poverty which is one of the main factor.
Do not getting proper access to health and service care
Differences in education or educational inequalities Akter & et.al., (2019).
Illustration
In the context of health dispensaries in indigenous people, it can be said that poverty is
one of the main reason which makes them differ and also having negative impacts on their
health. Due to lack of money and discrimination they do not have proper and adequate access to
health care services. It affects their health in a negative manner. It also includes: poor diet,
