DIVERSITY POLICY AND PROCEDURE REVIEW

Introduction
Aus Accountancy with its 25 staffs is a large accountancy firm. The firm is expanding to recruit
a number of qualified staffs. The company is located in Sydney. Its current period of struggle is
followed by the inclusion of diversity policies. The following tasks enable the accommodation of
such policies.
Assessment 1
The CEO's decision to form a formal diversity policy, procedure and action plan will provide the
company talented staffs. During meeting with the CEO the organization's policy and procedure
will be evaluated. As the General Manager, effective communication skills and responding to
questions identified will be answered to. The following will be the diversity briefing report;
o Purpose: Aus Accounting aims to include employee diversity in its expansion plans. It
has revised its existing policy to include diversity procedures. Procedures for
accommodating diversity policy is to develop adequate policies to support a diversified
environment.
o Facts:
 Australia is a multicultural society with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
People along with various immigrants born overseas from the country of origin
being China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Singapore, New Zealand.

 The major religion in the multicultural context includes Christians, Hindus,
Muslims and religion practiced by Aboriginal and Torres Islander people.

 Age structure by diversity includes the maximum population in the working age
group, 25 years to 55 years of age.
