Introduction
There are different drivers in every business that enhance the operational capacity of the
organization in the market in relation to the market structure and the competitive situations in the
respective industry. These drivers vary from one organization to the next[ CITATION Car161 \l 1033
]. Netflix has dominated the online streaming industry despite the different challenges that are
being experienced by different companies in the same market. Netflix is a risking investment that
takes every threat in the market as an opportunity, unlike many other competing firms. As
successful as the company is and dominant as it has been in the market, there are different
driving forces of the company that enhance its sustainable competitive advantage over its
competitors in the same industry[ CITATION Gab17 \l 1033 ].
In this report, we are going to evaluate the drivers of the sustainable competitive advantage of
Netflix in its operating environment
The drivers of change in the macro environment relevant in online streaming on Netflix
Netflix predetermines the market stability before making any relevant decisions that can bring
change in the operations of the company. This ensures that all the possible contingencies are
evaluated, and the proper solutions in accordance to the case scenario are put in place to enhance
the smooth operations of the business. Netflix uses porters five forces analysis in order to
analyze the industry and weigh the best practices to be considered in order to ensure profitability
