Introduction The objective of this essay is to identify the uses of the drug substances and alcohol consumption in the indigenous community, youth, and adult in the community use drug and alcohol continuously. The government of Australia is making efforts to reduce the alcohol and drug consumption in the community it have adapted many ways as it apply development in the health care services it also has introduced many judicial program that serves the development of health and deal with the reducing of the drug in the aboriginals youth. This essay aims to discuss the impact of these judicial programs by the government and the challenges these programs deal to manage their working with the youth in the targets drug and alcohol uses in indigenous Australia(Battaglia 2012). Youth drug and alcohol court programs Established in the year 1999, the Youth Drug and Alcohol Court program is the result of theDrug Summit at New South Wales Government’s in 1999. This summit was aimed to discourse growing community distressrelated to the increasing role of illegal drug in the community. Based on the summit does recommendations expansion if the exist Adult Drug Court with new modifications and reasonable changes in aimed to manage the effective delivery of the youth services. this summit planned to manage the effective procedure in the community services that aimed to deliver the effective judicial support to the people and youth as guidance and aid to develop these communities(Etter 2011). The objects of the program of the Court establishment for the youth were to decrease the alcohol and drug dependence of children, to encourage the re-integration of kind of the drug needy children into their relations and the communal, and to decrease the essential for such
drug reliant on youngsters to remedy to illegal action to care their medicine addictions. The campaign fluctuates to the Adult Drug Court in that children were dealing with pre-sentence relatively than post sentence(JustFacts 2017). Diversion program The courts and many other services to manage the effective development of the youth and to reduce the threat of the drug consumption in the youth run these programs. Youth taking the drug is very serious because it leads them to enter in the world of crime. Sometimes in the need of drug and alcohol in the youth are ready to enter in the crime like theft and threatening any person.
These activities are starting of the criminal activities that end on the murder or many other criminal offences. The courts and government to treat the mental and physical health of the youth to treat the desire of drug by their counselling operate offence-specific and therapeutic programs. Supported accommodation and bail programs are aimed to support the innocent youth and prevent them of being a criminal, as punishment is not always supporting. This program identifies the reason of such activities and tries to solve these issues(Vogel, Stephens & Siebels 2014). Pre- and post-release support helps the youth to enter in the community again as youth face challenges to manage the life in the community due to many reasons and this service supports and motivate the youth to enter in the community and live the life in the peaceful manner. Impact of the Youth drug and alcohol court programs The youth in the Australia face many challenges, these challenges are related to financial, emotional, poverty, education and sometimes to other reason, drug and alcohol provide them relief as it leads the chemicals that make the body comfortable and free. Regular use of drug make their lives very challenging hence these programs are very effective to lead the solution of the issues related to prevent the criminal activities adapting in the youth(Lindsay et al. 2015).
