PROJECT MANAGEMENT
1. Key stages of project life cycle for discussing the significance of PLC
The different stages of PLC are generally elaborated below:
1. Initiation phase: In this particular phase, the objective as well as need of the project are
identified which is mainly referred as the business opportunity. In addition to this proper
feasibility study is mainly conducted for investigating whether each of the determined
option is helpful in addressing the objective of the project.
2. Planning phase: In this particular phase, a project plan is developed that generally
outlines different tasks, activities, dependencies as well as timeframes. Moreover, the
project manager mainly coordinates with the budget of the project for giving proper
estimate about the budget (Kotb, Aly and Muhammad 2019).
3. Execution phase: In this particular phase, the project plan is used for performing the
work. Additionally, it is quite important to properly communicate during the entire
procedure of of implementation.
4. Closure phase: During the completion phase of the project, proper emphasis is put on
the release of the final deliverables to the project customer and in handling the created
documentation to the project manager.
The project lifecycle that is developed is helpful in in providing proper structured approach
during the time of project delivery. It generally assists in allowing every individual to determine
the progress of the project (Peltokorpi, Seppanen and Noorizadeh 2016). In addition to this, it
allows the project manager to properly link the progress of the project with each of the phase of
the project for recognizing completion of each particular phase.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
It is found that the project managers need to follow proper project life cycle while executing
a project because they are considered as the structured approach which is helpful for proper
project delivery. It allows the project manage to determine the way the project is progressing and
further aids communication. If the project managers do not utilize proper PLC then they will be
unable to link the progress of the project directly to each phase and cannot be able to recognize
the completion of each project phase.
2. Structure of the project and proper illustration about the proposed
structure
It is found that matrix organization structure will the most appropriate project structure
for Home Safe Pte Ltd. It is found that as the organization is working in a dynamic environment
and wants to increase brand awareness then matrix organization structure would be the moat
preferred project structure (Burton, Obel and Haakonsson, 2015). This is because as with the
help of this project structure, the organization can be able to promote efficiency and the helps the
organization in responding to demands of the customers proper as well as for raising brand
awareness about different products.
3. Discussion of project portfolio
According to Costantino, Di Gravio and Nonino (2015), project portfolio is mainly
considered as a procedure which is mainly utilized by the managers as well as project
management organizations for analyzing the potential return while undertaking the project
successfully.

which is considered under the strategic portfolio.

organization for confirming laws, policies as well as standards of governance that is mainly
imposed by the different government agencies and regulatory bodies (Cisse 2019).
In addition to this, operational project generally means the project that achieved
commercial operations in terms of its applicable power sales agreement, construction agreement
as well as interconnection agreement.
4. Discussion about the approach of project control process
Project control is defined as one of the series of procedures which is utilized by the project
manager with the different management staff for controlling the project quality (Willems and
Vanhoucke 2015). In order to ensure proper project quality, following steps need to be follow:
Hold proper meetings
Performing a number of quality control procedures
Tracking the progress of the project work
Responding the changes that is mainly done in the project
Managing the different issues of the project
5. Discussion about the project closure deliverables

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Project sign off: The sign off from the stakeholders are collected after post project
review is done to reflect that the project gets completed successfully.
Project documentation: Proper documentation that is created during the progress of the
project is handover to the manager so that they can use it whenever needed (Choi, Raymond and
Hentschel 2018).
Lessons learned: It is quite important to draft report on the lessons which are generally
learnt from the project.
6i) Purpose of establishing project network diagram
The network diagram that is developed is mainly helpful in justifying the time estimate
for the entire project and reflects how the project activities are interrelated with each from the
starting till the end of the project (Zeng and Dong 2019). In addition to this, it helps in planning,
organizing as well as controlling the project and further helps in reflecting the workflow of the
project activities.
