Introduction to leadership and its importance
The ability of a person for guiding a group or team is known as leadership. Abilities of
leadership could be adopted or it could be genetic. Leadership plays an effective role in the
success of the organization (Allison & Goethals, 2014). A leader could perform many activities
to meet the aim and objectives of the leader. Further, a leader could encourage the members of
the team and lead them in an appropriate manner. It could make a culture of the organization to
improve the performance of the firm. Moreover, it is examined that leaders could satisfy their
employees in limited time and cost (Antonakis & Day, 2017).

Further, leadership is the backbone of the organization. Beside this, it is analyzed that by using

I was proficient to find out my weak point and my potency in an appropriate manner through this
reflection. This analysis can be crucial for gaining the depth knowledge with respect to my
leadership abilities. This reflection also illustrates the result of the self-evaluation. Feedback
method is utilized by me to understand my potential and weak point and to increase my
proficiency in leadership (Wolfgramm, Flynn-Coleman, & Conroy, 2015). I realized that
coursework learning could be significant for successfully executing the leadership skills in the
organization and to develop a beautiful journey of leadership. I also examined that leader is
liable for maintaining the good rank of the company in the market. It could be important for
attaining the consistent result.
The key responsibility of ours as a team candidate is to accumulate the appropriate tools that
would be needed to acquire the specified goal in minimum cost and time. There are several
sources that are involved in it such as advertisements, newspaper, report, taglines, and social
media post. It is also analyzed that these sources could guide to encourage the association with
the internal and external stakeholders of the organization (Tyssen, Wald, & Spieth, 2014).

I believed that my experience of leadership was crucial as supports me to grow my professional

amount of benefit. Therefore, I improved the leadership skills that assist me to maintain my
position in the organization for a longer duration. I had faced various challenges but after some
time the situation has changed.

Moreover, every member of the team is self-motivated as it will instruct for obtaining the reliable

organization, I made communication department that helps to build public relation in the least

that every member of the group has diverse perceptions and beliefs about a similar topic that was
a big hurdle for achieving a similar goal. Various views and opinions of group members could
indirectly affect the attained result but at the same time, I have also analysed that brainstorming
method could be imperative for achieving the organizational goal. I take initiatives for
eliminating this difficulty by conducting the meeting and conclude them in the managerial
activities.

Current leadership role
Leadership plays a crucial role in operating any business and make higher competitive benefits.
In nowadays, I performed my duty as assistant manager on the retail workshop. I was responsible
for six people who are highly inspired to meet their allocated work in limited time and cost. It
was my initial experience. It is evaluated that skills of leadership for the attainment of
organizational goal (Bolman & Deal, 2017). It could be crucial for the attainment of the
organizational goal and enhance possibilities of obtaining a favorable result. I used a dynamic
leadership style to lead my group member and the attainment of the desired goal. This tool is
effective for accomplishing my leadership goal in a systematic way.
Journey of Leadership
Leadership is the procedure of leading a huge number individually in any particular issue. When
I was in my college, I worked as a team leader in the football team. I always motivated towards
football and ready to become a part of football. In the football team, I perform my team leader
activity and assist each one to accomplish their activity to reach the same goal. I tried my best to
motivate my team member and obtain a reliable outcome. Moreover, I perform many activities
and inspire group member towards their role in the team as it would decline ambiguity towards
their role.

and improve it by implying the same tool. This tool could be effective for identifying essential
strength and enhance my existing skills (Tyssen, Wald, & Spieth, 2014). This test was
imperative to examine the ability to planned (Koryak, Mole, Lockett, Hayton, Ucbasaran, &

leading my group member in a limited time. This test was imperative for making a strategic plan.

I gathered feedback from others in order to assess my strengths and weaknesses as it would aid
to arrive at a reliable conclusion. Through a section of self-reflection, I involve feedback of my
senior, group members, fathers, and my life partners in order to attain the aim and objectives of
the research issues. Moreover, it is assessed that feedback can be significant for analyzing my
weaknesses and improves my strength in order to obtain feasible results. In addition, my life
partner defines that I have good communication proficiency. My partner opines that I am a self-
reliant person that was a favourable feedback for me. By getting this, I was competent to
encourage my members of the team. My parents stated that I have strong competency and once I
have set a target for myself then there is no opportunity unturned to attain it. My team leader
stated me that I always create a favourable atmosphere within my team that generates open
argument on allocated tasks. Along with this, it is assessed that I also get unfavourable
atmosphere as well. My father opined that I may learn the art of saying no to others. It can be
beneficial to attain the targeted objective in the minimum period. It is beneficial that a team
leader is competent to perform the responsibilities to the extent that can be attained in a
systematic way. I would boldly work on this concept. Moreover, it is assessed that my team
member told me that sometimes I faced a high level of stress in order to attain the goal. It is
analyzed that I used feedback technique and gathers perception and opinion of others in order to

obtain an authentic result. I get feedback from all sources in order to enhance my competencies
hence this could be beneficial to create energy to the team members and leads their urges to
attain their goal in minimum time. There is a different factor for enhancement (Obolensky,
2017). I should also focus on my interpersonal skills in order to arrive at a valid and reliable
conclusion. I also need to improve my skills related to time management in order to develop a
balance between personal and professional career.
Implication of reflection
During this course, I obtained different feedbacks that were highly uncontrollable. Furthermore, I
also improved my behaviour in depth. It may lead to develop a positive judgment in diverse
circumstances and gain chances of obtaining favourable results. I decided to focus on my
weakness to attain my targeted objectives and arrive at the reliable assumption. I also emphasize
on how I attain the team goal with teamwork. In addition, I also practiced extraordinarily high
purposes as a tool to motivate my team members (Swanson, & Frederick, 2016).
In addition, it is assessed that when this strategy would be implemented into the team members
and it affected the productivity of workforces, in this case, I would reject this strategy. I also
decided six months of the time period for enhancing my weaknesses and attain my objective
significantly. Further, the main cause of selecting this time phase is that I was aware that this
time period is suitable for effectively improving my leadership skills. I also tried to entail my
team member in the group before making the last decisions. I will make a contribution to become
confident and arrange my efforts in a methodological manner. A leader can be competent in
controlling time significantly together with my responsibility to create a positive decision
(Pearce, & Wassenaar, 2014). Through the use of feedback, I learned different things and
enhanced my competencies (Tepper, Dimotakis, Lambert, Koopman, Matta, Man Park, & Goo,

2018). It was an extremely significant professional. In addition, I also increased my knowledge
about the Maslow’s hierarchy need of a theory that involves different techniques to encourage
group members and creates a reliable judgment (Rothaermel, 2015). My sources of motivation
come by self-esteem attainment (Tucker & Lam, 2014).
Conclusion
As per the above discussion, it can be concluded that appropriate selection of leadership style
could lead to the leader for developing a profitable organization and reliable judgment.
Moreover, a leader can have different responsibilities that can be related to the task of an
organization. A team leader may be skilled executives, friend, mentor, group members, and
guide. In addition, the fields of responsibilities of any leader can be wider as compared to the
executives. Therefore, it is always been significant for me in terms of becoming demonstrating
and a good leader.
