Abstract
This brings out a discussion on reflection of personal development plan that can help an
individual to improve its leadership skills. This report will be based on the development and
improvement of personality over two years of academic course on business administration.
With the passage of time, I grasped that there are several issues and laggings faced by me
during my graduation such as leadership skills and better communication. Through this
reflective report, I perceive to oversee lack of skills in myself and on the same side,
accomplishing the skillset through training and proper adoption of steps laid down by
Whiteman GROW model. Theory is quite relevant to openness, well-defined code of
conduct, communication skills, dedication, and the creativity that are the common traits in
any leader. This model focuses on putting questions on each aspect of subordinate’s actions
that is related to surrounding opportunities for growth. With parallel to the course of business
administration ̧ personality development plan will undergo several changes so that it could
absorb the changing business environment. A personality development plan is an way of
creating a particular action plan through values, awareness, goals setting, reflection and also
the planning for the education, self-development and relationship. The plan includes a
statement of aspiration, education, training, opportunities, risks, alternative plans, and career
positioning.

Introduction
This report deals with a personality development plan with parallel to academic course
related to business administration. PDI (personality development plan) consists of portfolio
that is the evidence of skills as being gathered in a particular time. This plan will help in
creating directed independent scholars that is likely progress for the high level of academic
knowledge. As I wish to get a reputed job in an MNC so PDP is necessary as it is required in
an employee`s CV. I will be asked for my business training. I can become an effective
personality if I starts grooming up my personality with few modifications, which were
hindrance to my personality during recent college life (Priest, & Gass, 2017). The following
report focuses on reflection and its critical thinking as of my personal journey (Covin, &
Slevin, 2017).
While evaluating my experiences, I have seen that the implementation and execution of
leadership theory is quite important for leadership and learning of self-development plans
(Priest, & Gass, 2017). With the deep understanding of my leadership journey, it is noticed
that during my assignment and group presentation at my graduation level. Each time, I could
not take steps to initiate to present my team in the presentation or guide my teams at any
level. The reason was not related to lack of knowledge but every time, I was not confident
enough. I relate my personality to each type of leadership theory; by studying well on each
personality type (Bamiatzi, Jones, Mitchelmore, & Nikolopoulos, 2015). These theories relate
to employee`s performance and its leader`s contribution where they are aware of personality
traits with the motivation and inspiration making the personality traits so powerful. Theories
such as transformational theory, situational theory, achievement goal theory, and path goal
theory which would help to find and classify any leader on the basis of different traits (Covin,
& Slevin, 2017). It will help to foresee the influence to the employees with certain
characteristics and their relative influence. Their classification is based on way of their
