INTRODUCTION E learning is a system that can be obtained through internet or using online device. It is the learning system based on the formalized teaching which uses the computers and the internet forms with the major learning components. E-learning helps the students in creating and communicating new ideas, which helps in uplifting their skills and gaining knowledge apart from the academic education. The purpose of E learning is to accomplish with the professional degree to the students, without physically attending the classes. This report will give the details about the Negative Effects of the online learning on the students and supporting the argument with examples, Discussing the positive effects of E-learning on students supporting this statement with examples, lastly recommendations how e learning can be best provided to the students for meeting the demand due to COVID-19 pandemic. MAIN BODY Negative effects of E learning on students also supporting this statement with examples E learning is the process of providing training and development to the students using internet, audio, video. This includes the interactive classes and the courses for the different programs which are being delivered completely on the internet. But E learning is impacting negatively as well as positively to the students with some or the other aspect. Considering the negative impact of E learning on students: 1.Limited feedback:E learning gives negative effect to the student as it does not provide the immediate feedback. By studying traditionally in the classroom provide the students face to face interactions and also the feedback. Students in the classroom were able to solve their problems quickly and directly by the lectures. But with e learning the feedback provided as that of the classroom doesn't work in thelearning concept for the students who are completing regular assignments (Lee, Song and Hong, 2019). Not Providing the immediate feedback gives negative impact on the student. Example: The positive phrases to assist the students and the face to face interaction between the lectures for problem solving by giving the feedback will not practise in e learning as it can result in the traditional learning.
2.E learning leads towards lack of self motivation and Time Management skills: As the lack of motivation in the students will lead them towards failure to complete the online course, which gives the negativeimpact on the students. With e learning the students will get so comfortable, that there will be no pressure on the students for learning the materials which are complex in nature. So for this reason it gives the negative impact on the students which lack the self motivation and also does not give the regular deadlines with the time management skills. This negative effect can be improved by the time management skills, self motivating with the disciplineskillsintheonlinelearningenvironment.Facetofacecommunicationshould encourage for enhancing the online learning from the videos. Example: there will be no virtual leaning environment for the students and no instructor for the students, no discussion board will be present the lectures, this will lead towards eyesight issues, headaches, strain will cause the lack of motivation and concentration in the students (Abdullah, Toycan and Anwar, 2017). From this the students will be exposed to the stress and the anxiety which will further result in the complete loss in the physical well-being of the students. 3.Cheating during the online assessment leads the negative impact it lacks honesty: This is the biggest negative impact on the students where e learning continuous to be with cheating through various methods. Compared to the offline learning in online learning students are not taking the examinations seriously and also the assignments. With Learning online students are not giving the personal attention to the assignments. As they are providing the work of assignments to the other people not working on their own, handwritten assignments are also reduced and cheating in the examination further increases in the e learning concept (De Michele, 2020). Example: During the online assessment exams the cheating is unavoidable by the students, as there are no teachers and the invigilators for watching the students during exams ,so this further result in the ease for the students to give the exam online knowing that there is nobody watching. Example: vast e-content for the students from the institutions will provide e books, video lessons, PDF, PPT, and the personalized e notes from the teacher. Recommendations for E learning environment provided to the students will be best for meeting the increasing demand during pandemic COVID-19 With the increase of the variant disease across the globe COVID-19 has resulted in closing many educational institutions for the definite period. This situation challenged the educational system across the world to shift the education on an online mode as the concept of e learning. It was adopted by the educational institutions which has considered to be the best for providing the education and knowledge to the students at the tougher time. From this analysis it can be recommended: ï‚·Many transformations in the teaching process and the learning activities for the students were carried out in order to continue the academic courses for avoiding the risk and the spread of infection.
ï‚·E learning has provided the benefits as group discussions were carried out synchronously with the help of online communication, this will help and guide the new way of learning method o the students. ï‚·As with the e learning many educational institutions has offered the free access for the educations. Educational apps mainly BYJUS . ï‚·In the starting of theE learning concept while adopting online learning, the teachers faculty needs the continuous development and improvement with the changes taking place in the dynamic environment. CONCLUSION From this report it can be concluded that E-learning helps students and the teachers for developing the advanced skills. E learning has impacted positively as well as negatively on the lives of students. E learning is majorly supporting students in redefining and transmitting the knowledge, skills and values in various fields. E learning has improved the student's perception, communication, quality, educational, their critic thinking, and self learning ability.
