E-Portfolio is an important electronic form of record which helps out in collecting and
managing all the demonstrations, work sample of the students their artefacts which provides the
detailed knowledge and the understanding about the achievement, progress and their hard work
for attaining and managing the work (Simcock, and et. al., 2021). This can involve all the
academic collection which are like the blogs, essay reports, paper work, multimedia recordings,
interviews and many more. This is majorly being made in order to know and analysed the
learning and the work which the students are being doing and the areas in which the implements
are required. E-Portfolio are the functional tools which evaluates and monitor all the programs in
effective manner and this helps in examining the students with their overall progress in the
academics and also the observance regarding their learning. This reflects and manages all the
methods and the ways in which the techniques are being used and analysed to manage and
implicate the general rules and the practises. It solidifies the learning concepts and also
accumulate the educational experience (Cho, 2021).
This document will cover different skills and the styles which are being needed in the
academic learning and also in gaining the advancement and culture in effective manner. There
are 12 important documents which are being covered through which the growth and the general
assessment is outlined which inflicts and regulate the improvisation of the academic writing
(Creely, Chowdhury, and Southcott, 2021). As research types along with the research style and
data types are being used which are made in order to maintain enhance the knowledge about the
secondary and primary researching as this will helps in managing and preparing my assignments.
Other than this the data types helps me out to manage all the eventful learning about the keeping
of data in proper manner.
The other documents which are being chooses are critical reading, critical thinking as
both of them are chosen in order to gain the thinking perceptions and also to manage the
effective growth in the thinking ability. This will help me to gain more diversions in my thinking
ability and will also manage my assignments and the future workings to be done in proper
manner. In this document I am choosing the time management skill as this will help me to
manage my time effective and also in making proper schedules and working. And by developing

this mu academic work will be finished on timely manner with proper scheduling. The
presentation skills are being opted by me so as to make all the presentation in effective manner
and also to implement and make it for the future assignments in the academics.
Note taking, learning style, reflective practises are also uptake as an important document
as all such helps in upgrading the evaluative work and also the enhancement in my academic
work and conducts. Lastly, Referencing and Academic writing feature will be used as this will
provide me the knowledge about using the correct format of the referencing which will help in
future assignments and the academic writing will help me to grow my inner capability and
effecting writing methods for future up takings (Ward, and Walter, 2021).
Explanation of the documents
1. Critical thinking: This document covers the concept of critical thinking and its
importance. It also provides the stages of evaluating the information with the help of six
steps which includes the relevance, expertise, viewpoint intended audience, evidence and
when it is to be published. This also includes two types of writing which is descriptive
and analytical. This document will help me in analysing my information in effective
manner so that my assignments and exam papers are written in proficient manner.
Moreover, this skill will also enhance my ability to think out of the box and enhance my
creativity skills. Through this stage there can be evaluated and manage my view points
and the furthers effective working patterns. I came to know from this that it will make me
to know about the descriptive and the analytical writing.
2. Good Presentation skill: This document gives the knowledge about the systematic
manner in which the information is presented and also the demonstration regarding the
delivering of the proper and efficient presentation. This provides the knowledge that the
presentation is mainly the effective method to communicate the ideas to the individuals
and this is being made through proper structure formation and provides all relevant points
in summary. This skill will help me to analyse the methods in which the presentation can
be made in proper manner as this reflects the bullet points, knowledge, questioning
rounds which will opt and maintain the interest if the listeners. I also came to know from
this document that while presenting the ideas I will have to be confident and try to make
up all necessary and manageable methods in which the ideas are being described.

3. Time management skill: It document provides the methods to set the goals from
effective time managing and will also provide the goals in order to accomplish the
academic sessions and work. This provides that in order to manage the proper and the
systematic learning the time management is an important factor. In academic learning
this creates a major role as by leading and managing the time for the important and useful
work. This document given me the knowledge about the SMART goals. And also
manages the academics and the professional behavioural areas. I also gained the
knowledge about managing and attaining the systematic schedules and the plans for all
the time management. All this thing will help me out to make the growth and the to finish
all my academic work on time and this will make me feel confident and prepared for
future programs and functions.
4. Note taking Strategies: This document gives me the knowledge about the methods in
which the notes are being taken in any if the work this is mainly through the proper
formatting, capturing the main ideas, developing all the personal system. It helped me to
know the methods in which the notes are being organised and the ways in which the
concentration is being made for effective note taking. I chose this as it made me confident
and also give me a major help in maintaining the notes which will help in future
academic’s sessions and this also provides the methods through which the modification
can be made and the ways in which materials can be assembled. This further enhanced
my future not making skill by managing the delivering of every important information on
paper.
5. Reflective practise: This document is being given in order to critically examine the
reflective ideas and the impersonal professional and the personal development. While
going through this document I came to know about the different reflective cycles which is
the Kolb’s experimental learning. All this has given me the ways in which ideas are
reflected and the ways in which the information is to be delivered when providing the
personal experience. It also provided me the ways in which the identification of the main
contextual topic is given and the ways in which the elaboration regarding the own
experience is being made. This document helped me to present my ideas and the thoughts
through proper consensual manner as to provide the details regarding the ways in which

proper planning, reflecting and the feedbacks are being managed so as to describe the
personal ideas and thoughts.
6. Data types: This document helped me to provide the knowledge of the general data
regarding the numeracy as it gives the ideas and the methods in which the quantitative
and the qualitative aims and the data collection with their general analysis is managed.
Though this document I also gain the ideas in which the quantitative data and their
management and functions are attained. This requires and provides the common sources
and the observations in which all the numeric words and the analysis of record keeping
and the secondary data is provided. I came to know from this document that all such data
types will manage and make my thinking ability to be enhanced and also to increase my
research and collecting of numerical data and social care.
7. Referencing: This is important document which is selected my me as this helps in giving
the ideas and it gives the demonstration regarding the use and the importance of the
referencing and the reason for which it is being used. This generally helps in avoiding all
the plagiarism and aloes lend the credibility of the work and helps in knowing and
providing the original source of work. This will help me in enhancing and managing the
academic journey to male my work to be authentic and also to know about the correct
formatting and the ways in which the references are being made. It percolates and
provides the general nature and the methods through which my all the future assignments
will gain the credibility through references.
8. Critical reading: This document which cover the context and the active approaches
which are being used while reading and the memorisation with the better understanding
of all the components and their meaning. This document gives the passive reading,
important areas and assumptions while reading, inactive process and work in reading and
along with it the different techniques in which the critical reading is being made. This
helped me to enhance my academic reading and all the lectures which are being given by
the teachers to be managed in proper manner. And it also provided the summarising and
also the responses with the major findings being made in the paper work in future to be
read with critical approach.
9. Research skill: It is another document which gives the detail knowledge about the
meaning pf the research and also the differences between the paradigms, methods and the

there is given that the main and the basic type of research are the explanatory, evaluative,
descriptive and emancipatory. It helped me in my future academics as this provided me
the depth knowledge about how to make the effective research for any of the assignments
in the academics and this will make me to practise and generate the skills through which I
will make all my research work to be managed in efficient manner with all the authentic
and the qualitative researching.
10. Research style: It is an important document through which all the major qualitative
methodologies and their different theories like the Grounded, Phenomenology,
Reminiscence, Ethnography and the Auto-ethnography are being applied. Their all such
are up taken thorough which the qualitative work and the effective research are being
made. This provides the knowledge and the ideas in which the elaboration and the
working nature are complied. I through this document will get the detailed knowledge
about the work and the general methods through which the qualitative researching is
managed and the ways I can make all the future research to be applied in proper manner.
11. SWOT Academic writing feature: This document which is chosen by me as this
provides the meaning of the SWOT in any of the communication and learning and also
gives the ideas and the guidance regarding the strength, weakness, opportunity and
threats of any of the areas. The academic writing features in this document will give the
formal, cautious, succinct and the other impersonal features which are being used while
managing the proper writing. It also gives the ways in which the academic writing will be
made by me and the methods in which I can implement it in proper manner. All this will
enhance my learning ability and will reflect the growth in my academic’s performance.
12. Learning style: It is another document which opts and provides all the necessary areas
and the three main ways which are like the visual learners, auditory learners and the
tactile learners. This provides me with the knowledge of various styles which a learner
can adopt in order to enhance its efficiency and effectiveness in the academic writing. By
making use of this document, I can evaluate that there are three types of learners and I am
a visual learner as I am able to prefer to the information by taking a view of the pictures
as well as diagrams.
