INTRODUCTIONThe world is facing the era of globalization where individuals, organisations andcountries are merging and interacting more. Through this international trade and tourism activities can be operated easily.All the easy will be dealing with economic impacts of an airport and for this Manchester Airporthas been taken in account. It is the third busiest airport in the UK in terms of passengers and isalso part of UK's airports expansion plans.TASK (a)Airports are important part of nations economy and plays a crucial role in the economicdevelopment of the different communities residing near them. Today airways has became themost preferred mode of travel and serves largest public facilities in the all world. If a countrywants to grow their economy, they have to put more emphasis on their transport system. Airwaysare considered as feasible and efficient transportation system (Ashford, Mumayiz and Wright,2011). From economy point of view, the surrounding communities has lots of positive impactsfrom airport. Manchester Airport is an international airport situated in the total area of 13 km and isranked among one of the busiest airports in Britain. It has three terminals and out of which, oneis assigned to the goods department. This airport serves to more than 70 airlines and has morethan 200 short and long destinations. In 2016 approx. 25,630,000 passengers came to this airport.Manchester airport holds a great significance in the economic of United Kingdom andgovernment has decided to expand in 10years with £1bn investments (Gasper, Blohm and Ruth,2011). There will be more terminals and improvement in the current are part of this plan. Theyare responsible for the economic development of a region as well as the nation as a whole.
