Role of education in eliminating poverty in United Kingdom
Poverty is a major threat and social evil which makes the development in a county at a
slower pace and also develops social threats. It is essential for a country to eliminate poverty in a
short span of time to boost development. Poverty is considered as major challenge for every
country and should be eliminated as soon as possible. The current condition of education system
in United Kingdom is focusing on every section of society in order to develop different
dimensions. The education system in a country mainly brings different ways of learning which
are helpful in growth of an individual. The human capital is an essential asset of the country
which can be developed and nurtured with the help of education. Education system is the
backbone of every country as it helps in overall development of the country. There are different
agencies and departments of government which are working in development of education to
perform country welfare (Giarda, 2018). The education play a vital role in development of
economy and in reduction of poverty in the country. Education is the main element which can
make a bright future for the student. It should be compulsory for government to introduce
different policies which are essential for development of education in country for social welfare.
It is moral responsibility of government of United Kingdom to develop education in country. The
government should also bring different policies which are effective in development of
appropriate national curriculum in the country. Child development is very much essential for
development of whole country and in order to perform child development it is compulsory to
provide education to every child. Government of United Kingdom is focusing on education
facilities and its development since the beginning (Hufkens, 2020)). Result of this has led to
develop different aspects of personality of a candidate in major sense. Many political parties of
United Kingdom includes education as a top priority in their manifesto after health services.
Through education many different career opportunity at national and international level
are developed in a major sense which generally brings peace in society. Their are different
education policies which are introduced by government to develop precise education in the
country. It is the major responsibility of government to develop education in country to also
develop different parameters of career in professional life. If a child gets appropriate education

the whole world. It is the goal of education to develop opportunities for students in job field.

development of whole country which is necessary for career opportunity. In recent times United
Kingdom has developed majorly through the support of various national education policy. The
different education policies which are developed by government of UK are also helpful in
development of education in country.
The social evils which exists in the society are majorly covered with the help of
education and it also helps in development of prosperity in the nation. It is the goal of a nation to
develop and train personality of different students with the help of education. Many different
countries like USA has also developed national education policy in a precise manner to develop
education in a major sense. The national education policy which is there in United Kingdom has
facilitated many students as a whole. Education acts which are introduced by government has
also uplifted development in the country. The system of education was mainly reorganised by the

made secondary education free of cost for all pupils. The education policy which was introduced

different classes. The primary section under this education policy mainly included children from
the age of 5 to age of 11. Secondary system of education under this policy included child from
the age of 11 to the age of 15.
In England education was made compulsory for each student in order to gain growth and

policy in 2021 which is majorly dedicated to achieve 100% GER in pre school to the level of
secondary education by year 2030. Colleges in United Kingdom are also free at the point of entry
which is a major advantage for students who are sincerely dedicated to take education in many
different ways. Government of United Kingdom also supports different students by providing
them loan for education which leads development of whole society. Scholarships and funding are
also provided to different students which is a major turning point in the field of education in
