6. Key areas of diversity in AustraliaAs per the aboriginal localities and communities following are the basic areas that differs themwith each other. Main aspects that have differentiated Aboriginal people from mainstreamcommunities are: Culture RaceEthnicitySpiritual beliefsOrientationHealth7. Historical issues and conditions, perception for western systems, their engagement that haveshaped relationships with mainstream AustraliaAboriginal community of Australia faced a lot of issues in history and there were numberof problems that had affected their lives to a great extent. They were highly affected by varioustraumatic situations in past era. Wars greatly affected their lives and its impact are still slightlyvisible. They were strictly bounded with number of conditions such as they needed to takepermissions for entering into certain area of the city (Carey and et.al., 2017). They were notallowed to access public services with ease and comfort. Local communities were not providingthem adequate conditions for survival as compared to white people of the country. There are still certain current social, political and economic issues that are affectingAboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. They are highly deprived of resources and arenot promoted at significant level. They are not receiving sufficient rights for employment,housing, health care facilities due to reasons such as remote area location, social connectivity,language barriers and other unresolved conditions and issues. There are number ofdiscrimination that are still affecting The way in which Western or mainstream systems and structures can be perceived byAboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people have impacted their engagements with currentservices. There are number of bodies and organizations have developed to provide support to
