These skills help them during the learning, researching, writing, presentation and various other task (Boyle, Ramsay, and Struan, 2019). These skills are developed with the helps of teachers as well performing the task provided. These skills will ensure that the students learn various things during the time of the college. It will ensure that the students will work effectively and efficiently during the work provided to them. The academic skills take time to develop which needs various steps. This steps will be discussed further. As it sets out the criteria in each of the steps. The steps of SMART goals are discussed further: Specific In this step the student will analyse what should be the goals which they want to achieve and their reasons. The goals can be learning presentation skills, inculcate creative thinking, learning of technological skills as well as improve the presentation skills. This will help the student to know that they are able to achieve the goals they have fixed for them. It will ensure that the student can get their success in their work as well as their academic life. Achievable These goals can be achieved by learning and practising regularly. Here the student will listen to their teachers properly which will help them to know the process of gaining this skills. Students will regularly practice in word, presentation, and various other technologies which are studied in the college. The student will also practice in creative writing on various topics which can be analysed from internet. Relevant In this the student will analyse that it is relevant for them to inculcate these skills. This is worthwhile for the students because it will ensure that they will get success in their career. It is the right time for them to learn as they are in the college where making mistakes can be corrected. This will ensure that the student can achieve success in their career and not face any problems. Time Bound Time limit is very important when the person wants to gain success. The time limit for the student will be the time of their course. As it is necessary for the students to achieve these skills during the time of their education. This time limit of the course will be of maximum 1 year, as after that they learn various new skills.

It is not good for the body of a human being as there are various negative effects of stress. A student of universities feels stress whenever they are supposed to face examinations or presentations, or they are facing any deadline or doing a part-time job after the college hours. This all creates huge stress for a person to handle. The report will discuss various effects and ways to maintain the stress. Effects of Stress There are various negative effects of stress on a person's health, well being and learning. Stress can be caused because of several reasons during the year of colleges such as academic courses are challenging, not able to balance the schedules, doing multi task during the time of college, and various other this get overwhelming for the person. The negative effects of the stress are discussed further in the report. Physical Effects of Stress There are various physical effects of stress which can affect the health of the person can cause problems. These problems can be long termed which need medical attention and medicines are not good for the health of a person as it can have various side effects. Stress affects everybody in different manner such but the common effects on physical health are mentioned below: Lower energy level of the person Constant headaches Feeling of nausea Stomachache Suffering from insomnia Having Chest pain Constantly suffering from cold or various other illnesses Constant sweating in the hands or shaking during conversations Psychological effects of Stress A person not only suffer from physical effects of stress, but he also suffers from various psychological problems as well. These problems are not easily detected which affect the
functioning of the mind of a person (Segrin, 2019). This can be harmful for the person if not treated properly during the time when they are suffering. The common psychological effects of stress are discussed below: Depression Anxiety Problems which are related to cognitive functioning Constant mood swings such as feeling irritated, angry, and various other changes in the behaviour. For this type of problem it is very important a person oversee his families or friends. Itis because it will easily help the person to detect the problem faced by their relatives. This can be noticed by others very easily by noticing the changes in the behaviour of the person. Effects of stress on learning ability of the person It is common to feel stressed when a person is handling education as well as various deadlines. This small stress can affect the functioning of the brain such as its processing ability or storing various memories. As it is proven that the things which provides stress it becomes difficult to remember the correct details of the study done. Such as when the person study for the exam at the very last moment then he is not able to recall the accurate answer of the question during the exam. It is because the brain is not able to store the information in proper manner (Pascoe, Hetrick, and Parker, 2020). Managing Stress, Anxiety & Nervousness There are various ways with which a person can manage the stress, anxiety as well as nervousness. These ways are discussed further in the report (Crum, Jamieson, and Akinola, 2020). Sleep— Insufficient sleep can lead to reduction in the quality of the work as the person will sleepy all the time. So it is beneficial that the person improves the sleep quality as it will ensure that the person will not take the load of work. For improving the quality of sleep person should be relaxed while going for sleep it can be done with the help of watching television, using phones and various other ways.
Exercise— If a person continuously perform various exercise it will avoid various physical effects of stress. As exercise helps to control the stress and need more energy. It also ensures that the person relaxes its mind as well as body. Meditation— If a person performs meditation then it will ensure that the person will reduce the stress. It improves the concentration power of the person as well as provide peace of mind, it will help the person in reducing the psychological as well as learning effects of the stress. Breathing Exercise— If a person performs the breathing exercise it will ensure that the person will get relax. It is mostly done when the person is feeling anxious or nervous so that they can calm their nerves. It will reduce the tension which will be positive for the person. In this exercise person should take continuous deep breath and exhaling which is beneficial for overcoming the situation which makes the person feel anxious. Eating High quality of protein— If a person intakes high amount of protein it will ensure that the person will not face any physical problems. It helps to reduce various problems which is related to blood pressure or any problem (Rupert, and Dorociak, 2019). Reducing Caffeine intake— Caffeine make the person feel more anxious which is not good in any condition. So the person who are used to of taking caffeine in any stress condition they should restrain themselves while in-taking caffeine. It will ensure that person will not feel anxious in any of the problematic situation. Conclusion It can be concluded that stress can have both physical as well psychological effects on a person. This effects will also affect the remembering power of a person during the learning process. It is also analysed that there are various ways with the help of which a person can maintain stress as well as reduce the stress. These methods can have various benefits which will help the person to improve their efficiency during the learning process. These methods can be eating high quality of protein, meditation, exercise, sleep and various others. This will help the person to not feel anxious.
