INTRODUCTION
The management needs to perform different duties and responsibilities which can make
the organisation more better in every way. There needs to be a proper structure established while
managing different individuals from multiple backgrounds. The report aims to analyse about
understanding effective duties of human resource manager and how they help the firm in order to
achieve success in the future (Birkenhead, 2021). On the other hand, in this report there will be
brief discussion about different policies which is implemented by the Human resource manger to
provide better structure to the workplace. Along with that, the main focus of this report is to
implement effective leadership strategies which will improve the productivity of the workforce.
For further instance, there are different activities which is performed by the management to
establish a significant structure in the workplace which regulates them to achieve different
targets and goals in the market.

Understanding about effective leadership and management
Effective leaders influence the people to work more and help the employees to improve
their skills and abilities. They also motivate the employees in a continuos manner to enhance
their efforts in the workplace. Leadership plays a vital role for the organisation effective leaders
helps the firm to overcome different challenges. They also help the company to achieve different
targets in the market (Gill-McLure, and Firth, 2018). There are better results achieved by the
employees if they have been provided a good path in which they are able to enhance their overall
skills and knowledge. On the other hand, the management needs to coordinate with the leaders
effectively. They need to help them in every manner. It is beneficial for the organisation they are
able to carry out the operations smoothly. With the help of these both factors the company can
provide better products and services to the consumers in an effective manner. There are different
leadership approaches which can be used. The most prominent is democratic leadership in which
the employees as per their wants. They are free to communicate with the management in case of
any issue. Effective leaders involves the employees in taking different decisions which will help
them to enhance their knowledge and understand the market conditions systematically.

Understanding the duties and responsibilities of Human resource manager
The human resource manager has to regulate different activities effectively. They have
the direct affect on the organisation performance and profitability. The main work responsibility
of the human resource manager is to recruit the best talented candidates for the workplace
(Harney, and Collings, 2021). They need to be suitable for the best working position. Different
responsibilities of human resource manager is described below:
 Recruiting talented candidates – This is one of the most important duty for the Human
resource manager. They needs to hire the candidates which could make the company
achieve its goals and objectives in the market. The candidates needs to be skilled in every
manner. Through, this they are able to improve their overall productivity in the
workplace (Holland, 2018). The HR manager also provide different interactive training
programs to the employees for the overall growth of their skills and capabilities. Being in
the role of human resource manager I have perform multiple duties and responsibilities.
The main focus is to recruit the talented candidates for the firm. I have used multiple
software which could encourage me to perform my duties in a better way. I have
implemented the necessary programs which could help me to focus on achieving different
objectives. I evaluate the skill set and knowledge of the candidates before recruiting them
for the job position.
 Processing the payroll - The human resource manager has to process the salaries of the
employees with the help of software and other methods (Leroy, and et.al 2018). There are
different problems which can be solved by the human resource manager of the
employees. I have perform this duty in an effective manner. I use the mew software
which helps me to manage the records of the employees and process their payroll. I had
make the employees comfortable which has helped me to identify their needs. The system
which I have used in effective. The structure of processing the payroll is simple. The
employees needs to register their attendance on the portal. This portal is totally controlled
by me and I personally check the attendance of the employees to process their salaries.
 Conducting different disciplinary actions – There are different et of cations which
needs to established by the human resource manager. It helps the organisation to work
effectively and the employees needs to follow all these rules which is implemented by the
HR manager. The code of conduct and policies will help the firm to achieve success in

the future. Being in the role of human resource manager I have maintained guidelines and
help the employees to understand them effectively. I have made the employees
comfortable and help them becoming learn new things. The main responsibility is to
establish a healthy working environment in which the workforce works in a systematic
manner and enhances their overall productivity. I also motivate the employees in every
manner and help them to learn new things in the dynamic environment. There are new
opportunities on which they can capitalise in a strategic manner.
 Maintaining the employees records – The employees records needs to be maintained
with the help of new software and technology. It is mandatary duty for the human resurge
manager there is a particular law which is established in order to maintain the employee
records (Prikshat, Malik, and Budhwar, 2021). The personal details and emergency
number needs to be collected by the HR manager in the case of emergency it can help the
company in an effective manner. Being in the role of Human resource manager the main
responsibility is to check the attend ace of the employees. The attendance is check with
the help of online platforms. The staff has to make an entry in the platforms. In the case
of emergency or leave they had to inform me if they are taking the leave. I have
maintained a healthy behaviour with all the employees. They talk with me without any
hesitation. There is a effective system which I have applied while performing my duties
and responsibilities.
 Explaining individuals about different policies – The human resource manager needs
to make the employee comfortable about the duties and responsibilities. There are
multiple policies which needs to be explaining to the new candidates which is working in
the organisation (Psychogios, and Prouska, 2019). Being in the role of human resource
manager there are multiple policies which has been introduced and the individual needs
to comply with all the policies in a systematic manner. At the time of recruitment there
are different policies which I explain to the individual to understand the working culture.
This will help them to understand about the vision of company. Through this they are
able to contribute to the organisation in a better way.
New skills learned in the area of management
Management can be understood as the process of optimum utilisations of resources so that
goals and objectives are attained on time. There are different areas of management every area has

their unique roles which helps them firm to drive towards success in the future. It includes
human resource, finance, technology, operations etc. This also help the company to function in a
better way (Reiter-Palmon, 2021). I have learned multiple skills which include time
management, problem solving, decision making etc. There are different challenges which could
be overcome with the help of these particular skills. I have carried out my job responsibilities in
a significant manner. The main focus is to help the firm achieve their desired goals and
objectives in the market. Through these skills I have improved my overall knowledge and this is
certainly beneficial for the company. There is key role of management in success of a business. It
helps to bring coordination and cooperation among the employees of the organisation so that
goals and objectives are attained on time. It is important for all the individuals to learn from
management so that they are able to carry on the work at right time. The skills that I have learnt
by carrying my responsibilities in the field of management are as follows:
Communication skills: At the time of doing work communication skills are must as they
help to interact with all the members (Riley, 2018). A manager must have effective
communication skills so that they are able to assign the work to the team members and they are
able to carry on the work effectively. I am able to develop communication skill by interacting
with the colleagues, seniors as well as juniors. It is important to have effective communication
skills in order to develop relations with all and develop networks.
Time management skills: Each and every person must have capability to manage the time.
There are a lot of work that an individual has to carry on the assigned work on time. Being a
manager a person has to manage lot of work and projects together. It is important to manage the
overall work. By handling different projects together and forming schedule and distributing the
work, I am able to enhance time management skills. This helps to learn in effective manner and
develop the skill.
Decision making skills: The effective decision making skills is important to take the right
decision in every complex situation. There are various situations that arise at the time of working
in an organisation. There is key role of taking better decision by analysing the overall situation
so that work is carried in right manner. This will help to carry on the operations in effective
manner and managing the work in best possible manner. The use of decision making skills must
be done by each and every individual so that better results are attained.

Team working skills: This is one of the most important skill, that I learn from management.
There is need of managing the work in such a manner that the individuals are able to work
effectively in team (Rodrigues, and et.al 2022). It helps to carry on the work with cooperation
and coordination so that better goals are attained. There are various projects that an individual
has to perform at the time of job. It is required to work effectively and carry on all the work that
is assigned. At the same time, the ability to lead the team is important. This helps to carry on the
work and manage the working effectively. Motivating the team member’s at the time of working
helps to carry on the work in more suitable manner.
I have developed so many skills by learning management. These skills are necessary for the
individual at the time of doing job. A manager must have all these skills so that the work
assigned to them is carried on right time.
CONCLUSION
From the above report, it has been concluded that effective leaders help the organisation
in every manner. There are multiple new strategies and approaches implemented by them in
order to make the company achieve inherent goals an objective. On the other hand, in this report
there are different policies which is implemented by the Human resource management to make
the company works with the following code of conduct and carry out better results. Along with
that, the main focus of the human resource manager is to identify the weak points in which they
are lacking and improves it in an effective manner. For further instance, in this report the human
resource manager needs to coordinate with the respective employees in order to grow their
overall skills. There are different aspects which they can improve to achieve best results for the
organisation.
