Models of communication Popularly there are three types of models which is being used by the sender and communicators to express their views effectively. Linear model This model is being propounded by Shannon &Weaver in the year 1948. As per this model communication is a linear procedure. This model states that how a sender send and transits the message to the receiver. Basically the sender it the end source of message. Message can include sounds, words, and different communication interaction. Then the message may get transmitted in a pathway. Communication process may face some hurdles in the procedure of transition. This one of the fair and simple model in which the sender simply pass the message to the recover in an appropriate manner so that receiver may understand the thoughts andopinions. This model uses some assumption that communication take place through one way only . Any persons can be a sender or receiver, they can’t perform both the roles at a time. International model This model plays a critical role in the dynamics world. As the name suggests this model follows two channel of communication. As per this, receiver must give feedback to the sender so that they may do some changes which improves the entire communication (Yildiz,2017).Feedback can be in the form of verbal and non verbal communication. But the most important thing is that feedback shows the comprehension . Apart from this, it helps the sender to know that receiver get the information on not and do the receiver understand the message or not. This model focuses on the field of experience about the environment, culture and experience which helps the sender to improve the way of communication.Therefor this model is more dynamic then the linear model . Transactional model This model is one of the most dynamicmodel of communication. The most notable feature if this model is that it shows the move from referring the people to sender and receiver by referring them as communicator. As per this model communication can be achieved when both the sender and receiver take part in the conversation. It is like the linear model in which meaning is being 4

transferred from one person to another.Along with this, transactional model also consider feedback because it helps the sender to know whether their message get delivered to the recover or not. This model communicationcan only become effective when the meaning of message can be understand by the receiverin the same way which the sender wants . Communication skills Conciseness This is one of the important skill that the message should be concise and clear. So that receiver may understand the meaning. Straight talking Sender directly come to the point and the message which they want to deliver. So it will be convenient for the receiver to gran the meaning with out wasting much time. Control on emotions This thing has to consider by the sender that they must have control on their emotion (Beesley, 2018).Excess expression of emotions may bring embarrassment to the receiver or it may possible that the sender get distract from the actual message which they want to deliver. Basicsshould be clear Before starting the communication, sender must know the basics in which they are going to talk about so that it will become easy and convenient for the sender to deliver the message and they may include all the points which they want to convey and nothing can be missed.
