2 Introduction There are almost 4 million elderly people currently in Australia and predicted to increase to more than 8 million by the year 2056. Most of the elderly people in Australia are aged 65 or more than 65 and 54% are women, and 51% are men (Menantet al.,2017). As they grow older, some physical changes take place in their body, and they started to face several health issues. These physical changes could take place in nearly all the organs and can impact their lifestyle as well as health.Some of the health problems faced by the elderly people in Australia are skin-related problems, muscles, joints and bone pains, thinner nail and hair, hormonal changes, memory loss, heart diseases, hearing and vision problems and weak immunity systems. All these issues could have adverse effects on the overall health of the elderly people.The paper will analyze the major health issues and the relevant points of the importance related to elderly people in Australia. Conclusion The paper evaluated the key issues and the relevant points of the importance related to elderly people in Australia. Various physical changes could occur in the body of the elderly people to various degrees and lead to major health issues among them since these changes are different in each of the people. Some of the health issues become prominent in the elderly people and plays in major role in the physical health of those people. Regular exercise and a balanced diet are firmly connected for the better health consequences in the elderly people (Stones & Gullifer, 2016). The elderly people can take some vital preventive measures for improving their health issues. Adopting a healthy lifestyle for leading a healthier life can also decrease the effects of health problems on their overall health of the elderly people.
