the land. All these practices influencing the global warming. In instance to this As the
technology is evolving rapidly In the automotive industry several companies evolving their cars
segments by taking the entry into clean energy. By the production of electric cars these threats
care eliminating slowly. The electric cars didn't produce any carbon dioxide in the environment.
This ultimately helping in order to reduce the air pollution and creating the better life for the
generation. In relation to the mentioned discussion several advantages of electric cars will be

providing the grant of £1500 on around 20 models that cater in the price range under £32000.
EV are becoming more affordable due to the high demand and evolution of the technology that
adopting by the companies in order to gain the competitive as well as first mover advantage

ahead in shift towards an electric future. 2021).

electric vehicles around the globe. The sales of electric cars are breaking the previous records. In
the 2019 around 2.1 million of electric vehicle were sold globally

order to fulfil the demand of nature enthusiast peoples. Companies also developed the electric
cars that offering the high km range to their customers (global sales of passenger cars were
sluggish in 2019, but electric cars had another banner year, 2020).

Advantages of electric cars
Their are several benefits of owning the electric vehicle. It provides the several facilities
such as safe to drive, noise pollution control as well as environment friendly. Hence, Below are
the some advantages that can be measured in these factors;
 No gas required- The electric cars not require any fuel as it run of electricity. As the
prices of fuel are increasing globally. Therefore through the electric cars peoples can
saves lot of money by eliminating the use of fuel based vehicle (Ma, and et. al., 2019).
 More convenient- Through the home based charging socket the electric cars can be
charged easily. Hence, people generally charge their cars overnight to reduce hectic
process in their daily operations. The owner don't need to run towards the fuel station. As
these provides the more convenience to the owner.
 Savings – As several governments providing the subsidiaries on the electric vehicle.
People can easily take the advantage of these practices by switching towards the electric
cars as well as it charged on the very low cost. Hence, it is one of the biggest advantage
of driving the electric car (Meckling, and Nahm, 2019).
 No emissions- The electric cars have electric engines which does not produce any
pollution such as carbon emulsion or other toxic gases which fuel cars produces. Its
electric engine is 100% ECO friendly that contributing towards the better and healthier
climate condition.
 Safe to drive- At the time of manufacturing All the electric cars undergo through the
safety procedure in which several test were adopted in regard to the owner safety. Their
lower centre of gravity also helps in order to make them more safe to drive as well
enhance their stability. Majorly companies are proving the air bags in their cars that

providing the tax incentives as well as the mass production of the electric batteries make

it more cost effective. Several subsidiaries is also providing by the governments to the
audiences that helps them in order to buy these electric cars on a lower prices (Mridul,
and et.al., 2020).
 Low maintenance- The electric cars have the electric engine that does not need any
lubricant in servicing. Hence, the cost of maintenance such technology is very low that
provides cost advantage to the car owner. It also saves the lot of money of fuel cost on a
long term basis which is major positive sign to owning a electric car.
 Eliminate the noise pollution- The electric cars does not sound while driving it. Its
electric engines are quieter as well as provides the smooth driving experience. The
electric engine also have high acceleration in compare to the fuel cars. Electric vehicle

Disadvantages of electric cars

some disadvantages of electric vehicle that can be faced by the individuals in regard to the

 Recharge points- One of the major disadvantage of owning the electric vehicle is the
less number of charging points. As the electric technology Is still in the developing
process. Hence, in the long trips can cause the issue of battery drainage. Their are still
several rural as well as urban areas that does not have these stations and infrastructure.
Therefore, without a proper planning these types of long trips are not possible. As
peoples can face the issue of battery drainage and can stuck in the middle of the trip due
to lack of these power stations. In relation to this people have to be more conscious and
should kept the electric station maps with them. By this information they can charge their

 High priced model- As governments initiating several steps towards to encouraging the
people towards buying these electric cars. But still it is expensive in compare to other fuel
cars. The price of the most affordable brand is also costing way much higher. If a person
buy the luxurious one then they have to pay even more. The main reason of such higher
prices is due to the new technology. As companies consistently working on making it
more cost friendly by eliminating such high prices. But still it is costing way much higher

than a gas powered cars. Hence, it will take time to make these cars more price friendly

 Longer charging time- One of the major factor that comply in the electric vehicle is the
charging time. The battery takes a lot of time to fully charge. It takes around 7 to 8 hours
depends upon the weather also. As in the gas cars it takes only minutes to fuel the cars.
Hence it shows the major disadvantage for the electric vehicle. This is the main reason
for number of people to not buying these cars. In relation to this companies provides
several kits that reduced the overall charging time but still it is consume more time and
money. Peoples invest their time in such process that disturb their time management.
Hence, these practices made some people upset by these practices. Therefore, the EV
companies need to develop effective battery swap station at which people can easily swap
their low batteries with the charged one in a couple of minute of time.
 Pollution in manufacturing these vehicle- The production of electric vehicle
contributes twice in the global warming as well as includes the double energy to creates
an electric engine. The production of batteries consumes lot of energy that reflects the
pollution in the nature. The raw material that used in forming the batteries consumers lot
of energy. According to the car size the battery cell needed to charge it that ultimately
produce more carbon in the environment. Hence, the manufacturing of electric cars
impacting the environment its initial carbon cycle contributes higher carbon emulsion.
But these cars on road also helping in reducing the air pollution and emulsion.
 Batteries replacement- The batteries in electric cars have to replace after the certain
period of time. The usage of these batteries over a certain period of time degraded the
performance. Hence, these batteries are required to replaced in every 5 to 8 years. This

could be a big investment for the car owner because it is the crucial part of the electric
vehicle.

given module I performed several activities in regard to extract the convenient information
related to my task. In the starting I faced several issues such as how to get the data and stats
regard to the given topic as well as will I complete this task on the given deadline or not. But
through the guidance of my mentor I somehow manage to complete the given assessment. In the
starting of this module firstly I created the time table in which I segmented all my workings that
need to be achieved in a specific time. I followed such time time table which helped me a lot.
Secondly, another task which I faced in during the module is related to performing approaches

that comply in the module. As for the assistance I discussed with my colleague in regard to
perform such module. By their suggestion my vision towards performing the module was sorted
out.
I googled my given topic for the better assistance as well as I also extracted the
informations from various sites by citation of authentic sources in my reports in order to
eliminate the plagiarism from my module. I gained several new informations regard to my given
topics as I understand the importance of electric cars as well as their contribution towards the
society. All these were possible due to my skills of extracting knowledge through internet. I also
take care of academic integration throughout the module. I adopted all the practices that my
mentors were guided me. I paraphrased all the informations that I extracted through the online
source. As it enhanced my writing skills which will surely help me in future assistance as well as
also help me in my academic career. By all the skills and practices I managed my work and
submitted my module on the given deadline (Stopka, and et.al., 2020).
Their was some moments in between the project in which I faced the complications
regard to the understanding of informations. At that time I got nervous and panicked a lot due to
lack of guidance regard to deal with such situation. In relation to counter such situation I took the
