Introduction
The concern of environmental consciousness among individuals around the whole world
towards climate protection is significantly increasing the need of electric vehicles in the nations.
The present topic include discussion on the drivers’ perceptions as well as as experiences of
electric vehicles in the provinces of United Kingdom. The environmental consciousness among
people and negative impact of Co 2 emission on the environment has increased the government
consideration towards making investments in electric vehicle manufacturing. In the present
discussion analysis of the use of electric vehicle in UK in terms with drivers’ perception and
experience of electric vehicles in UK is being defined. In this discussion on the response to
recharging plugin battery vehicles from the prospective of electric vehicles driver is being
analysed, along with this discussion has also been made on future EV market in the UK. The
present report includes a discussion of two articles in which the first one is on travellers’
perception and experience of electric vehicles in the UK. In addition to this, the other article is
on the manner in which city supports electric vehicles and the differences it makes in the UK.
Task A
The use of electric cars in the UK
Article 1: Charge up then charge out? Drivers ' perceptions and experiences
of electric vehicles in the UK
The academic article by Louise Bunce, Margaret Harris, Mark Burgess it has been
analysed that the UK government is increasing public awareness with various strategies and
potential investments in electric transport in potentials to reduce Co 2 emissions. This awareness
program is on the increase with the help of various government policies those who support EV
commercialization and increasing media attention (Bunce, Harris and Burgess, 2014). This
article is conducted on the topic which outlines drivers perception and experience of electric
vehicles in the UK. According to the authors viewpoint in the articles recharging of an electronic
vehicle need drivers to learn new behaviour and establish awareness to how, when, where and

for how to connect their vehicle to electric supply for recharging. In the UK individual
behaviours are changing towards EV which is playing major role introducing the UK Co 2
emission in this article. To analyse the research objective investigator has taken use of
appropriate methods in which participants has been selected by emphasising on vehicle
characteristics. 2302 urban resident drivers from the United States were asked about their
knowledge of electric vehicles in a recent survey that this study analyzes. There were a lot of
misconceptions about the purchase price, driving range, operating costs, and recharging time,
according to the findings. For instance, seventy percent of motorists underestimated the amount
of fuel savings.Similar to this, a poll of 500 people in the UK found that over 70% of them
would be concerned that their car's battery would run out quickly, that it would be difficult to
recharge it, and that they might not be able to travel as far as they needed to.Other nations, such
as Belgium and Sweden, have found that people have negative perceptions of the length of time
it takes to recharge, the financial cost of electricity, and the driving range. The topic examines
responses from the point of view of EV drivers in the discussion.. This outline importance by the
governments to increase awareness among consumers for the ease of recharging that will help
them to encourage the use of vehicles in the country by changing driver recharging behaviour
will help to promote the future of the EV market. With the help of a questionnaire and interview
scheduled procedure and data analysis method the result and discussion it has been evaluated that
is essential to increase awareness among consumers to emphasise the similarity between the ease
of recharging the EV and recharging other common appliances such as laptop and mobile phone.
With the help of this shaping positive consumer perception of EVs will help to increase the use
of electric vehicles dramatically in the UK.
Furthermore it has been analysed from the data analysis industry search the number of try
guys those with completed the questionnaire are optimistic about the potential of fighter use of
EVs in order to reduce carbon emission some of these said that and recognise the importance of
electronic vehicles to reduce carbon emission but they also recognised the issues that they are
continuously facing m recharging the EV the article explores the counterparts and mixed feelings
individuals in the UK to use the EV. Drivers tended to ignore the requirement for a PCI when
asked about it; however, a visible infrastructure may be useful in promoting the upcoming EV
market. Finally, drivers' awareness of CO2 emissions increased throughout the trial, but their
perception of EVs' significant role in reducing carbon emissions decreased. In conclusion, it is
