1. Career Goals
Fashion designing is the most exciting and very demanding work and profession in the
coming future (Jang, 2018). I would like to be the fashion designer in the 3-5 years as it is my
dream to be a fashion designer. From my childhood, I have enjoying designing my different
outfits in the different programmes which develops my passion to be fashion designer. In this at
the first stage they used to teach the sketches of making the variety of dresses which encourages
me to be a fashion designer in the coming years.
Target industry is the fashion industry which is going to be the most exciting and
demanding organization in the coming years. The target industry for me is to is Fintex Limited
and role I have chosen is to be a fashion designer.
A long-term goal is the goal which is achieved in the future by working in the present.
This increases the skills and knowledge of the person (Davis, 2021). My ambitious in my life is
to do PHD in the psychology which develops the mental power of the person and make me to
have new creative ideas in my working.

The job of the fashion designer entails the creative and modernized ideas which is
produced by making the sketches and drawing or using the computer-aided design. The designer
must be very up to date about the trending fabrics, colours, shapes and designs in order to make
the outfits. It makes the person manage the process of designing into various styles and helps to
conduct the research in the market related to new trends, fabrics and techniques and make the
new design and outfits. The job of the fashion designer includes fashion ideas, cutting down and
stitching the new outfits from the fabrics and satisfy the customers.
This jobs makes me attractive because it includes to think something create and trending
outfits. The fashion designer job is the gaining the popularity in the coming years so this makes
me to this course. Working in the environment which includes creativity and style makes my
learning power strong in this field (Robinson, Workman and Freeburg, 2019). So this job makes
me attractive in order to do this work. The fashion field always comes with some innovation and
trends among the people. So, the fashion designer job is wonderful as it includes the creative
mind when the person is producing something new style and design.
3. Gaps required to close
As I want to be capable enough for achieving my long term goals which focus on
understanding about various needs and requirements for the role of Fashion Designer. This helps
me in improving as well ass upgrading my already existing skills, so that I may able to achieve
my targets. It enables me to grow rapidly in according to get successful with proper

understanding about different things and skills regarding employment term. As in the recent
times I am not being able to meet the requirements and other specifications, due to having less to
none skills required for the job suitability (Mark, 2021). I required to fulfil the gaps as well as
gain the needed skills and knowledges for being suitable to the preferred job role. With the
proper learning and utilizing of skills I may able to improve my workings and performance
which is required for that role. Not just that but I may also being able to seek opportunities for
closing gaps.
For improving and upgrading my skills I may take care of areas which I needed to
improve including Technological skills. Apart from that also required to upgrade my other skills
including Creativity so that I may able to come up with new and impressive ideas. I also required
to enhance my team working and decision-making skills so that I may able to easily collaborate
and work with others whenever required. Lastly I am required to keep focus on visualization
skills through which I may able to observe and analyse about various trends. As well as this will
also learn about what is required to be effective and useful for the appropriate job role. For
Example, with making action plan and regularly working on the things written according to skills
I may able to overcome all the challenges and also close the gap for the Fashion Designer job
role.
4. Experience of tailoring CV
My experience regarding making person CV for the job role of Fashion Designer was
implemented. As it was very crucial and important for me to develop the appropriate Curriculum
Vitae without it I may not being able to put myself forward for company roles. For applying for
the job role I must have required to create my CV through which the other person being able to
know about me, my learnings and other things. I am also being able to know that good cv helps
in making good impression and boosting the chances of getting hired (Goworek and et.al., 2020).
While creating that I am able to do an internal SWOT analysis which tends to outline my all
skills as well as experiences.
As I am able to get to know about the areas I am good at, areas having weakness and
where I need to focus on more. With that also helps me in focusing on different areas so that, I
may able to enhance my knowledge better and more effective. Apart from that while tailoring my
CV I was also able to know more about the skills which already exist in me as well as how can I
improve them so that I became capable enough to work in big organization.

5. Building professional network
It is important to build a professional network for an individual, as it tend to provide
assistance in working with other people (Mark, 2021). As, with increasing network helps in
gaining opportunity of working with people who have better experiences in the fashion industry.
Along with that I also try to expand my network as it provides different and many ways to
improve my personal skills which I can utilize for further use. I also want to build such network
consisting different individuals who may have every kind of experiences for the job role of
Designer in any fashion brand. By building my network also grants me accessibilities about how
to deal with any situation or what strategies to incorporate for different areas of improvement. I
will try to be part of various gathering of such professionals which help me in building my
network. Apart from that I'll also try to collaborate with people.
6. Action Plan
It is defined as the plan utilized by an individual for checking and listing tasks and
various steps in order to goal achievement (Martindale and McKinney, 2018). Being an
important term used for strategic planning and also aids improving team working & planning.
