(Be able to develop interpersonal and transferable skills)
. Employability skills refer to set of skills, behavior and
knowledge that are necessary for performing a specific
job. It can also be known as soft or foundational skills. If
a company wants to attain its specified objectives, then it
should hire that person who have skills and capabilities
for performing a job in an effective and efficient manner.
Organization spends lots of time and training to its staff
so that they can perform as per specified standards
INTRODUCTION
There is a process for solving issues from the
business which is given below-
Problem identification- At this stage, firstly issues
are identified which have to solve. Identification of
issue is very helpful in find out the ways by which it
can be solved.
Brainstorming- After defining issue, brainstorming
session should be conducted in which every person
will give their suggestion regarding problem.
List the possible solutions- After conducting this
event, company should have written down all
possible alternative at one place which will assist in
comparing these methods.
Evaluation of options- After gathering all possible
options, next step is to evaluate these alternative in
which it is checked that which one will provide the
best result.
Select the option- After conducting analysis, an
option is selected which will provide the desired
result or outcome.
Implementing and monitoring- After taking
decision, this option is implemented so that
problems can be removed from the workplace. After
implementation of this alternative, monitoring is
very essential because it ensures that process is
carried out as per decided standards.
Develop solutions to work-based problems
If an organization wants to get success in the market, then it should adopt time management
strategies which aids in completing task with in specific period of time. There are various
types of time management strategies which aids the manager to utilize time in that manner
which will provide positive outcome. There are some recommendations by which
management can manage their time-
Set priorities- For managing time, employer should set priorities of work which will
assist in achieving the most important objectives first.
Use a planning tool- Manager should use various planning tools by which target can
be achieved with in specific period of time. These tools guide the manager that all
project should be done with in set time and if not then employer should take corrective
action.
Manage external time wasters- For saving the time of the firm, manager should
remove all those useless activities which are consuming more period of time and
should concentrate on useful activities.
Avoid multitasking- Supervisor should focus only on one operation at same one time
which will aid in attaining the best result. If he will do various task at one period, then
it will consume lots of time and will also not produce effective outcome.
Identification of effective time management strategies
Communication is a two-way process by which information or ideas are
exchanged from one person to other person. It is very important aspect for an
organization because it assists in getting success in the market. There are various types of
communication which are given below-
Verbal communication- It is an oral communication in which individuals exchange
information by using speech. An employed person should have good verbal
communication that can be easily understood by everyone. In TESCO company, this
type of channel is used on a regular basis. It is used by manager for giving guidance to
their subordinates.
Nonverbal communication- In this, people interact with each other by using sign,
symbol, gestures, postures etc.
Written communication- Generally, this type of channel is used at work place
because company implements or formulates strategies in written so that every
member can understand it easily and accurately.
Public communication- It is used by large companies like TESCO while introducing
new products or services. It provides information to the public related to good or
facilities.

There are various types of communication that are used at
every workplace such as verbal, nonverbal
communication. It assists in achieving success in the
market. TESCO should adopt time management
strategies by which it can complete their task with in
specific period of time. For solving the problems,
company first should identify the reasons of problems so
that it can corrective action.
