INTRODUCTIONEmployability can be described as the capability of receiving and keeping satisfactorywork. In this the individuals are asked to work for certain organisation and they are given certainroles which they have to perform and in return they get wages. Employability is all abouttraining the candidates and developing certain qualities in them so that they can work moreefficiently. If the person wants to gain success he should have some types of employability skills.In other words employability skills can be a set of achievements, understandings and selfattributes that make people more likely to gain employment to be successful in whatever they aredoing (Andrews and Russell, 2012). Knowledge of the skills which are required for a job andability to identify appropriate job opportunities are some factors which assist people in gainingemployability. A person who might posses skills cannot be successful at all places because thereis variation in the jobs and every one of its requires different sort of capabilities. At the workplace there might arise lots of situation so in order to deal with the problems employees musthave key skills and these skills make them flexible. TASK 11.1 Own set of responsibilities and performance objectives.A job specification is the detail of the job and it also tell the responsibility of a person. Inorder to achieve the targets and goals the employer briefs about the role and skills which isrequired. These responsibilities and skills may vary depending upon the job position in the firm.If the person meets the employability skills the organisation in which he is working will gainmore profits. An employer not only looks at the hiring process but he also posses duties towardsacquiring all the requirements of the task performance(Baker and Henson, 2010). It is expected

from the employees that they should perform well by using their skills and knowledge. With thisthey are given the target to complete their work in the set period of time. They have toperformance by keeping standard of performance in mind and if they are not doing so they mightbe terminated. I am employed in one of the hotel named as Travelodge at the post of Manager. Ineed to make sure that I provide best facilities to the guests of the hotel. All the duties andfunctions has top be delivered effectively and with this they can achieve all the defined goals. There are lots of Responsibilities on me which I need to address so that the goodperformance of the company is maintained. I need to make coordination with all other staff andfor that effective communication is required for Travelodge hotel. Manager should have goodrelation with the other staff of the hotel which will help them in resolving the conflicts which hasarise in recent time. I have to see that whatever resources which are allocated to different teamsand departments are used in better way so that more profitability and productivity can be gained.All the task is performed when and different employees are placed at right position according totheir employability skills(Belt, Drake and Chapman, 2010). I need to shape my skills accordingto the objectives and goals which needs to be attained. Manager has a key role in the company sohe should take interest in the meetings and develop a strategic plan which focus on the growth ofthe hotel. I need to make sure that all the legislations are followed by the hotel and this thing willbe take care during the framing of policies. Managers should carry out different activities andwhich involves the motivational programs. This is the best way to encourage employees andincrease their moral. As a mangers at Travelodge hotel Performance objective is to develop propercommunication skill in my behaviour so that I could guide other people effectively. I will befocusing on improving my presentation skills and set performance standard. I will be workingwith my full dedication and will make sure that I abide all the laws made by the government andthe policies framed by hotel. This is my performance goal. As I was given the responsibility totake care of the working of the hotel and for that I need to develop a participating nature inmeetings(Benson, Morgan and Filippaios, 2014). This way I will able to put my suggestions infront of the higher officials it is necessary for the growth of the hotel. In the hotel industry it isnecessary that a person should have a nice personality. This will be my objective because withthis I can better satisfy the customer coming in the hotel. I should learn accounts and tally skillswhich would assist me in analysing expenses and the requirement.
