INTRODUCTION
Employee absenteeism refers to the employees who are absent from the organisation or from
their desired job roles. This lack of work in the organisation is termed as a habitual absences that
excepts given or paid leaves by the firms to its respective workers. The firms are fully aware that
their worker need consistent leave from the work in accordance to eliminates stress of work or to
encourage themselves to be more productive(Ismail, and Bipin Patel, 2019) . As in increasing
consistent days off it has become a challenge for the firms which is an absenteeism. The
following report or essay will cover efforts of the organisation to minimise absenteeism by
various programmes of employment engagement along with its affects.
TASK
The challenge of unplanned or sudden absence in the organisation by the employees can impact
the employee's as well as the company as they are usually case the challenge of time of working
with low staff in their organisation at the time when people take lots of causal and rapid leaves.
As for the working employees of the organisation can give a outcome in losing their post as a
important member of the company.
This creates the evolution of programmes which are employment engagement and crucial too for
the employees and their managers. It can help the firms o effectively know the major element
that influence the attitude and behaviour of the employees by examining the main reason of
workers that can support in minimising the absence rate of the employees. In order to evaluate an
efficacious engagement programme it is essential for the firms to develop its major missions and
values in a proper way as it can make sure that workers know the value of the firm mission and
objectives. It can have a optimistic affect on the challenges of absenteeism as worker will be
encouraged to accomplish its task by understanding the objectives in the company(Lewis, Cave,
and Hopkinson, 2018). Additionally, in accordance to evolute an efficacious employee
engagement programmes the firm have to rate the feedback and quires of the employees that will
help the firm to better understand the wants and requirements of the worker like safety and health
along with its several desires. The development of employees feedback can help firm to
minimise the absenteeism in the employees as they will be encouraged to work by understanding
all their requirements are full filled. Moreover, to this firms have to concentrate on the whole
mental health and physical capabilities of the employees as it is very essential for the workers to

be happy in terms of their health and wealth in order to be available at the work during the week
days. Furthermore, it is very essential for the firm to know the top productive and performing
worker of their organisation and appreciate that worker with deserving rewards and perks. This
is very important for every firm to follow such programmes in order to make their workers
available at the work(Rajabpour, 2021).
The employment engagement programme play a very important role reducing employee
absenteeism. The idea behind developing the these programme for the employees to motivate
them so that they work very hard and achieve the set objective of the business within the set time
limit. The development of the employee programme not only allow the management to
understand the weakness of the employees but also help them in solving the different issue of the
management. This will help the management in increasing the employee retention rate of the
organisation (Mallillin, L.L.D. and Gilbang, 2017). These programme boost up the confidence
of the employees which reduces the rate of absent of employee in the company. Along with this,
these programme not only provide the job satisfaction but also provide the healthy and happy
environment for working which result in reduction of absenteeism. The high level of
employment engagement programme not increase the level of job satisfaction but also increase
the rate of retention. This is done because of the motivation of the employee within the
organisation. A healthy and happy working environment encourage the employees so that they
always remain loyal to their organisation. If the employees of the organisation are highly
satisfied and motivated towards achieving the objectives of the company then it result in
reducing the absenteeism and increase in the loyalty towards the respective company. These
improvement programme allows the employees of the respective company to be always present
and be attentive to the different task, roles and duties of the organisation. These not only
improves the productivity of the company but also enhance the productivity of employees. These
training and development programme to their employees helps the company in building a good
relationship with the customer and also help them in providing a good services to their customer.
With the help of effective leadership style these employees engagement programme done in a
very smooth way. The leaders of the company must have to established a clear communication
channel so that they easily understand the issues related to employees and also gives them
feedback of their performance during the year(Nabavi, 2020.) . The effective communication and

CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that, it is very important for the organisation to
develop these employees engagement programme. This not only reduces the absenteeism rate of
the employee but also increase the employee's retention rate of the organisation. The idea of
developing the employee engagement programme for the employee enhance the skill of the
employee but also improve the working environment of the company. The management have to
develop suitable for resolving the issues of the employees.
