Background/Context of the Research
Employee benefits are defined as such direct, cash or non-cash benefits which are given
to employees in addition to their salaries (Al Mamun and Hasan, 2017). For an employees these
employee benefits are associated with rendering high degree of motivation as these benefits are
over and above salaries of employees which helps them to meet their personal needs in more
specific manner. This research proposal is related with examining the impact of such employee
benefits on developing employee productivity and retention tenure within Morrisons.
