INTRODUCTION
Human resource management is the main function of organization as it involves planning,
organising, directing, and controlling the business activities for the purpose of growing their
business and accomplishes goals. To have good human resource management could be
opportunity for organization as it fill the vacant post by recruiting and selecting the right people.
This is important for each organization to understand what their employees want and how they
could be motivated to operate the business effectively (Al-dalahmeh, Khalaf, and Obeidat, 2018).
The human resource management is defined as process of recruiting, selecting, providing
orientation, and providing training and development program which can help to manage all
functions properly. Employee motivation is an integral part of human resource management and
plays important role in long term of growth. It can be used in directing employees behaviour and
actions to attain the business goals. To understand about human resource management Sainsbury
has been selected that is the largest chain of supermarkets in the United Kingdom. This
organization was founded in1869 by John James Sainsbury with a shop in Dury Lane London.
The company is the second largest retailer of groceries for the purpose of running their business
and increase the productivity. The Essay involves aims and objectives, literature review and
methodology that develop understanding properly.
