INTRODUCTION Employee motivation in a company is the process of encouraging employees for working better by increasing level of engagement and productive employees for reaching goals in company. Tesco operating as largest retailer and serving costumer by retailing its supermarkets stores. Jack discount store part of tesco compromising of same values and culture of tesco and recruiting motivated employees for working and serving consumer of the company. this report provide detail about the analysis two motivational theory and applying its advantage and disadvantages to the jack discount stores. MAIN BODY Examiningandanalysingdifferentmotivationaltheoriesaslo specifyingadvantagesand disadvantages The two motivational theories helps in better engagement of employees by increasing job satisfaction and working in the jack stores are as follows: Maslow hierarchy needs theory With using this theory in the company helps in dressing all the needs and fulfilling ans for motivating the employees working in the company for serving the company better and helps inachievingsuccessforoperatingtheretailstoreoftheTescosupermarkets(Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs,2022). This theory mainly involves five needs. Psychological need:These are the basic needs which is used for motivating the employees working in the company. As by providing assurity by fulfilling the basic needs of employees as the necessities with providing food, shelter helps in motivating employees by fulfilling survival needs. Safety needs:This needs mainly comprises providing safety to employees by assuring financial security, good and health working conditions ate the workplace. Further, addressing all the dangers while working with the equipment in the company providing safety for supplying goods helps in motivating employees for working better in the jack stores. Love and belonging needs:With this accepting employees and creating sense of belongingness by building better relations and communicating with all employees working in company helps in fulfilling these needs and motivating employees for working better in the company.
Esteem needs: These needs mainly specifies about respecting employees for better working and recognising extra efforts and their achievements helps in fulfilling the employees needs and motivating for better working and achieving job satisfaction with giving outstanding recognition and achievements. Self actualization needs:By fulfilling self actualization needs with regularly setting up meetingandorganizingvariousprogramsfordiscussingcareeroptionsandoffering opportunities to employees (Sitopu, Sitinjak and Marpaung, 2021). Also, trusting employee for working and serving consumers helps in motivating employees for better engagement and working with full satisfaction. Advantages With applying this theory in the jack discount stores helps in motivating employees by fulfilling theory needs and aids in better engaging for working with satisfaction. With applying this theory helps in achieving productivity by working efficiently (Fallatah and Syed, 2018). As when employees are motivated at workplace and working better results in working efficiently, it mainlymotivates employees and aids in reducing cost which results on earning more profits for the store by increasing sales. Disadvantage it is time consuming process for addressing all needs of employees for motivating and working better by serving company. Hezerberg needs theory The herzerberg needs theory aids in fulfilling all he need of employees working in company and motivating for better working and achieving the success. This theory helps in betterengagementofemployeesbyusingthemotivatingfactors.Withthepresenceof motivating factors help the employees in working harder and the hygiene factors helps in addressing and providing job satisfaction to employee working in the company for serving bter to all the consumer . Hygienic factors includes : Salary:Providing salary and wages to employees helps in motivating as for achieving better results by working efficiently (Alam and Raut-Roy, 2019). Policies:The policies of the company communicated to all the employees must be in and fair manner for understanding and better working according to the culture and policies.

Disadvantages This theory mainly ignores the productivity of employees for working in the company. Furthermore, the biasness of providing motivational and hygienic factors hinders the process of motivation to the employees. CONCLUSION For the above report it can be concluded that motivation play key role as it helps in retaining employees for working better and results in lowering the absenteeism with providing improved working performance and serving consumers with enthusiasm. Using the Maslow hierarchy needs theory as it helps in motiving employees and engaging better for working in the jack stores. By satisfying needs of employees helps in better engagement and addressing all
needs for proving work satisfaction. Further by using the Hezerbeg two factors theory helps in motivatingbysatisfyinghygienicfactorsandusingvariousmotivationalfactorshelps employees for working and engaging better in jack discount stores.
