INTRODUCTIONEmployee relation and industrial relation is an important for each and every organisation.An organisation with good employee and employer relation program provide fair treatment to allemployees (Amini and et.al., 2018). By this they are committed to their job and its responsibility.Present study is based on “Arcadia group” is the British multinational retailing company which isestablished in London. The group has more than 2500 outlets in the UK. It owns high streetclothing retailers. Study lays emphasis on values and importance of employees relation andfundamentals of employment law with examples. Report will show different rights, duties andobligations of employer and employee at workplace. It is also highlighted the stakeholderanalysis and its impact on employee relation both negative and positive. LO1Explain values and importance of employee relation in Arcadia group.Maintaining healthy employee relations in an organisation it very important. Success oforganisation is depends on strong and healthy relationship between the employer and employee

of Arcadia group. Employee deals with avoiding and resolving issues which are related to theorganisation then it will influence the work. It is important and valuable for growth and improveproductivity of organisation.Importance and values of employee relationsIncreased productivityEffective and healthy relations help to increase productivity and profit of the firm.Management of Arcadia group thinks that the employees are the assets of organisation. Positiverelation of employee improve working performance of employee. That motivate them towardsthe goal and success within the company (Importance and values of employee relations, 2017.).It helps to enhance value and confidence of employees. For example: for maintaining theirproductivity of organisation, management have to keep the proper relations with employeeArcadia group can organise weekly or monthly sessions to measure and analysis the needs andwants of employees which are related to work and their working culture. This practice help toincrease motivation of employee and make effective or strong relations within organisation. Thishelp to increase the productivity of organisation. Retain employee loyaltyHealthy and positive relations between the employer and employee help to enhanceloyalty of employee towards Arcadia group. That helped to improve the efficiency of work andalso to boost morale of employee. It will be the effective and valuable for growth of Arcadiagroup. For example: management uses the reward's system and give compensation to employee.This help to make positive and strong relations with employees. Effective and strong relationswith employee help to be a more loyal towards the company. Reduce conflictsConflicts are part of the organisation and team members. But most of the that createproblems between employee and employer. But it can be eradicate by making good and effectiverelations with employee. For example: employees are not satisfied by their work and workculture and not able to understand work and roles and responsibility. With the help of strong andpositive relations it can be reduce and eradicate (Avery, Smillie and Fife-Schaw, 2015). It isimportant to make effective and strong relations. It is important to reduce conflicts andmisunderstanding between the employees and employer because for good work with positiveresult it is important.
