INTRODUCTION
Employee relation refers to the organisations undertakes the relationship between the
employees and the employers. A good relationship provides fair treatment among all the
workers. For the positive and good worker relation in an organisation the employer and should
have good communication skills for better understanding and performance (Millward and
Brewerton, 2015). A healthy relationship between employer and the employee helps to work in
unity to achieve the goals and success. An employee must receive consistent feedback to
improve the quality of work performance. Present report is based on Marriott hotel which is
hospitality organisation in UK. They provide different types of services such as accommodation,
food services and offer other luxury services to their customers.
Under this report the healthy relationship between employee and employer motivate the
employee , effective communication, efficient working and productive employees in the
organisation is highlighted. Good relationship helps to lessen the stress, peer pressure, excessive
and insufficient workload, etc. The satisfactory relationship helps in improving and innovating
new ideas according to the trends. It also helps to get focused on future with knowing the focus
areas. Regular communication among the employees helps to solve the difficult feedbacks.

1.1 Unitary and pluralistic frames of references
Every employee has different relationship in the organisation the worker is working. In
return, the give an innovative idea to the workplace to fulfil the trending demands of their
customers. A positive relationship of the employer and employee is necessary as one person is
not enough to handle all the responsibilities of an organisation (Tansel and Gazîoğlu, 2014). In
addition to this, it also helps in managing the employees at their workplace.
Unitary perspective frame: Under this frame the conflict among the employees is seen as
the temporary divergence which may be occurred due to poor management or lack of proper
communication for a certain time. The unitary perspective finds the expression by implementing
the mission statement. It also measures the success through the actual achievements of the
objective. It makes the workers loyal towards their work and the organisation.
Pluralistic perspective frame: The organisation turns into powerful sub groups in which
each group holds its own legal loyalties and their own set of objectives and leaders. The control

stability at workplace to compromise between management and unions. The role of manager
would be less commanding and enforcing. The union plays a major role in this frame. Pluralistic
frame has the disagreement and concern over the sharing of profits and the organisation. The
matters of the workplace and employees are handled by the managers.

1.2 Effect of modification on employee relation of the firm.
In order to maintain effective relations between the workers of organisation, corporation
has taken many efforts due to which growth of the firm can be in the appropriate manner

to various approaches are as to provide effective training and research programme for their
worker so they can learn and do between in their performance. With the help of these the
changes in the relation of the workers can get affected are as-
Communication- This term referred as passing of information from one person to another. This

Unions- Every organisation has one effective team leader of the union which carries the activity
of the system in the effective and efficient manner. The change in the frame working of the hotel
group of “Marriott” leads to have overall impact on the performance of the business activities.
The environment of the union should be in the positive manner so that all worker can work in
active manner. The growth of the firm depends on the activities of the employees and employers
(Sigala and Chalkiti, 2015).

In the firm people from different background due to which everyone have their own style
of performing the activities. Every organisation has various kind of workers, managers and
government and they perform the activities as per the work assigned to them. They can perform
the activities in the well and effective manner if they are having responsibility and authority in
the same manner as per the work. The role can be understood in the easy manner with the
