Title- Impact of employee satisfaction on organizational performance : a case of Hatton
National Bank
Overview and significance of the proposed study
The job satisfaction of the employees is extremely crucial a factor for the staffs and for
an organization also. It is found that the top-level management is required to understand the way
a staff becomes happy and satisfied with their own job and in the work environment. The
reason is that usually the happy and the motivated employees put all their energy and effort on
the organizational growth and development. The satisfaction within them helps in providing
amazing performance to the organization as a whole. On the other hand, those employees who
are quite dissatisfied with their own job are not likely to get engaged with the daily work and
provide expected results. Moreover, there can also be higher levels of absenteeism in their way
of working. The less motivated and less satisfied employees are less concerned about any such
issue in the organizational context and they find dis-interest in the happenings of the
organization. The organizational work culture in is turn affected by this along with the
performance. The reason is that an organization usually sets the goals based on the performances
of the employees. It is also significant for the organizations to realize the feelings of their staffs
towards their job and their levels of satisfaction. When an organization recognizes the elements
of dissatisfaction founded on the perceptions of the staffs required for making some strategies,
the dedication and the determination level of the employees can definitely become improved. In
this way, the outcome of the business can also be improved in a good way.
