INTRODUCTION Research methodologyrefers to asseveral sequentialsteps thatare taken by the researcher to studying the problem with particular objective in mind. It is used to render a scientific framework for the process of research. It basically describes about the method, procedure, approaches and philosophies are used by the investigator for conducting the study (Dunn, 2021). It assist researcher in developing logical and systematic plan for resolving research problem. It allows reader to check the research reliability and validity of the research. A well-structured research methodology allows researcher to conduct the research in effective manner as well as reach to the conclusion. Research onion refers as a most important framework that help researcher to design their methodology in proper manner for meeting aim and objectives of the research. It classifies the whole methodology in several portions for making convenient for the investigator to develop research methodology for the research. MAIN BODY Research philosophy Researchphilosophyrefersasaway ofgathering, interpretingand examiningof phenomenal data. Positivism and interpretivism research philosophy are the two important parts of research philosophy which are used by the investigator to conduct the research. For the current research, researcher used positivism research philosophy for gathering numerical information. This research philosophy is based on collecting quantitative data to perform quantitative and objective research (Longest, 2019). It is considered as vigorous process which helps in setting hypothesis, empirical experimentation for testing these hypotheses, in-depth examining to measure the results and then it provide ability to codify the results within a set of laws and predictions. The main advantage of this research philosophy is renders freedom to the research for showing more patterns and trends in the research. Research approach Research approach refers to a way of reasoning which is used by the research for solving research problem. Inductive and deductive are two important types of research approach in research methodology. The researcher used deductive research approach in the current study as it 3
questionnaire as research tool for collecting first hand data for the research. It is a research instrument that includes set of questions for collecting accurate information from the respondents (Duncan, Goedel and Chunara, 2018). The key benefit of this research tool is it allows respondents to choose their own version and language for providing correct and reliable information. Another advantage of this research choice is it is easier to plan and execute for getting better information related to the research topic. Time horizon Time horizon is the term that tells about the time frames which is needed by the researcher for doing the whole research. Longitudinal and cross-sectional time horizons are two important time horizon which is used by the researcher for conducting the research. The researcher used cross-sectional time horizon for the study (Öhman and Olofsson, 2019).This time horizon is considered as short that render snap shot view of the situation under research which is obtained at a particular time. It enable researcher to gather data about the several variable within a shorter period of time. Data collection Data collects means a process that helps in gathering and measuring data on variable of interest, in an established organized manner that allow investigator to answer the research questions, test hypothesis and evaluate outcomes. There are two important types of data collection methods in research which name as primary and secondary data collection methods. Investigator used both the data collection method for the present study (Stanley, Wilson and Milfont, 2021). Primary data collection method permits investigator to gather more reliable and accurate data directly from the respondents. On the other hand, secondary data collection method enable researcher to collect views, opinion and ideas of other authors in context to the current research topic. Primary data is gathered directly from the participants whereas secondary data is gathered from several sources such as books, journals, scholarly articles and many more. Data analysis Data analysis is considered as the application of numerical and reasonable methods in systematic way for showing, recapping and examining the data. There are many kinds of data analysis methods that are used in the research for analysing the raw collected data (Fairlamb, 2021).These arefrequency distribution analysis, thematic analysis, correlation analysis and 5
many more. The investigator used frequency distribution data analysis technique for the present study in order to measure andanalysethe collected data. It helps researcher to present the raw data into organized and well-structured to make easier for the researcher to understand. Sampling It refers as a process of statistical analyses for predetermining the quantity of opinion which has been taken from the large group. There are two types of sampling in research that are defined as probability and non-probability sampling. In the current research, researcher used probability sampling that allows researcher to selects participants from the large population randomly (Bordonaba-Plou, 2022). This sampling allow researcher to provide equal chance to whole population for getting chance for the selection in research. In the current research, researcher selected 50 respondents through random sampling for the research. These respondents are the managers of Aston Martin that provide current information about the research. Ethical consideration It refers to the collection of different principles that renders direction to the investigator for designing and practicing the research. The principles which is required to follow in the present research arevoluntary participations of the respondents in the research, they should participate on the basis of informed consent, primary and anonymity of respondents are maintained, full consent should be obtained from the participants prior to the study and respect for the dignity of research participants should beprioritisedin the research (Ghorbanian, Aiello and Staples, 2022). Research validity and reliability The validity and reliability of the research is high in the current research. The researcher used primary method for collecting relevant information for the research that helps in making the research more reliable and valuable (Fogarty, 2018).On the other hand, researcher selected participants for the researcher to collect first hand data for the research. These participants are the managers of Aston Martin that provide more accurate and valid information for the research. 6
CONCLUSION From the above information, it has been concluded that the quantitative research methods are used in the current research for collecting accurate, reliable and objective data for the study. Both primary and secondary the data collection method are selected for gathering relevant information for the research. For collecting primary data, survey method is used by the researcher for gathering information. Questionnaire tool is used by the researcher for collecting informationfortheselectedparticipants.Probabilitysamplingtechniqueisusedbythe researcherforselectingparticipantsfromthewholepopulation.Frequencydistribution techniques are used for measuring and analysing the raw data in order to find the outcomes of the research. 7
