Introduction
Employee performance is the most important aspect by which organisation productivity
get impacted. This helps in generating more productivity and creating good and positive working
environment. But the major impact is through Brexit and the covid pandemic (Conca, Manta, and
Toma, 2021). As most of the food industries are being impacted by the pandemic because
customers are not purchasing food from them and they re not earning more. This report is
focusing on the UK food industry and it includes rationale and significance and literature review
and research methodology. Further, it includes time frame and conclusion of the report.
Significance of the topic
The significance of this topic is how the staff members fulfils the duties of their role and
complete the required tasks and behaves in the working environment. Employees performance is
most important to every organisation and it is helpful for all the stakeholders ion achieving their
organisational goals and objectives. Further, this report is based on the UK food industry in order
to determine the impact of employee performance on the working condition of the company and
the food industry (Tuomi, Tussyadiah, and Stienmetz, 2021). It is to develop the potential and
helps in improving the overall performance of the employees which can create positive impact
on the morale and quality of work which is produced within the working environment.
Purpose of the research
The purpose of conducting this research is that employees performance will affects the
company performance and helps in development of achievement of organisational goals and
objectives. As due to covid 19 pandemic, many of the businesses have been affected by the
pandemic and this directly reduces company performance and their productivity. Further, by this
employees are also get affected. Further, this research will helps in learning new skills to the
researcher such as communication skills and research skills which could helps in near future.
