In the given case study, there are two methods of stating the same facts catered to a single
group of audience. One of them is written in an essay format that just tells the facts like a story
and in the second version written by The Florida Department of Financial Service, the facts are
stated in a more organized manner. There are headings and subheadings in the second article
along with the required explanation following the headings which makes it possess a better
understanding for the people who have no knowledge regarding the insurance terms and their
applications.
The organization of the second version is apt for the readers who are just a noob in the
insurance field. The subjects and the concepts are arranged according to the needs of the readers
and are provided in a discrete manner for their better understanding the process. The first version
is written in an essay format while the second version is written in a report version that is better
understandable and easily comprehensible.
The sentence structure in the second version of the article focusses on the people who
have no knowledge in the field of insurance and it is seen in the fact that the whole article is
written in small paragraphs which focusses the attention of the readers on a particular topic that
the writers want to highlight. The style of writing can be deciphered by even a layman which is
another positive side of the second version. The main words are emphasized in bold so that the
received by the reader easily and can know what are the points that are emphasized in the article.
The first version does not have the required details necessary for the overall
understanding of the readers and are lacking in major points which can of importance in reading.
The second article is more organized and arranged in the manner which makes the readers have a
better view of the whole hurricane situation in Florida and the compensation details.

The ethical factors that should be considered by private insurance companies in making
the people of Florida understand of the compensation situation is that without the knowledge,
they may face a major monetary loss after a natural disaster which is not at all apprehensible by
the government or the companies. If the companies have a better understanding of the people,
they can get a better idea about the whole situation.
The second article is way clearer than the first article by using specific keywords and
alignments that are both useful for the writer to express their thoughts through the sentences and
also for the readers who have a better overview of the whole situation and how to get over the
situation with minimal efforts and related knowledge. The knowledge related to deductibles are
also mentioned in the second article with more clarity making the second version better than the
first one.
