Successful companies demonstrate significant adherence to their core business values
which have a large contribution behind their towering success. In n argumentative way, this
essay aims to substantiate how and to what extent big organizations follow their core values. The
researcher would explore and highlight various evidences in favor of the arguments produced in
the essay, regarding the two companies Amazon and Google. The employee policy of Google is
highly reputed and various researchers speak of their policy as the strongest foundation behind
their global business. In a same way, Amazon’s value chain, incorporating their providers and
clients with business value generation, has been one of the big reasons beyond their global
domination on the ecommerce business (Corfield and Paton 2016). The idea of business integrity
takes shape in the way Google handles their employees and Amazon connects with their
providers and client base. Providing evidence of the business policies and business procedures,
this essay would evaluate up to what extent the two abovementioned organizations are
aligning to their core business values in order to achieve success in business.
In this paragraph, the most important core business values of Google would be discussed.
Evaluating the business practices the researcher would also evaluate the extent to which the
company abides by the core values in their major business activities. Google has a unique
business culture that is reflected in the way they treat their employees (Al Saifi 2015). Google
believes that the employees are the most valuable resources’ and that is why the organizations
have a policy for provision of innumerable perks for their employees so that they can enjoy
working in a laid back, fun environment.

Google representative Larry Page advanced identify that all the organisation is continuing to
evolve with everyday and every hour, the mission statement of the organisation remains the
same. Google is always trying to capitalise on their success in the search engine business by
stocking cleans in the developing markets with incorporation of Robotics, Biotech as well as
Other industries (Williams, Perillo and Brown 2015). The selection of Industries is done in such
a manner that they are able to directly benefit the quality of life issues of people. The mission
statement of Google really highlights that their business should have the maximum positive
impact on the world and by doing this they actually e undertaking the best Strategies for
benefiting people.
Google shared the vision of organizing global information to make it accessible universally and
make information as much useful as it can be (Conger, Peterson and Wolin 2017).
Most importantly, it should be noted that because of of the difference in vision towards their
stakeholders as well as towards their customers, Google had to separate their ties with Parent
company, Alphabet.
Google has specified in the organisational mission that they would be maintaining through
flexibility in order to address the model goals alongside the business goals of the organisation. In
fact, the organisation still maintains their standard of flexibility by addressing and understanding
the needs of the employees and providing them with flexible work schedule and worked on their
terms so that they are able to deliver maximum creativity along with greater level of productivity
(Onyusheva and Seenalasataporn 2018). The organisation allows employees to explore and
identify how they like to work for the organisation and gives the maximum freedom regarding
their approach to work.
