INTRODUCTION
Employability skills is known as the transferable skill which is required by an
individual to develop or grow themselves suitable for employment (Kiai, Lewa and Karimi,
2019). Apart from the technical expertise specific to the job role, employers also outline
skills such as learning ability, problem solving, planning, communication, self management
and team work skills. Digital marketing is defined as advertising that delivered through
social media, websites, mobile apps and email etc (Collet, Hine and Du Plessis, 2015).
There are three areas as to manage the complex customer relation across the variety of
channels.
The present report is based on analysing employability skills for career in field of
digital marketing. Henceforth, report will cover things as reflect on assessment centre
experience day, Personal Gap analysis on the areas that is lack of evidence. Lastly, key
development and action plan to note specific career related activities.
SECTION 1
PART A
Group exercise- I am good at communication and this has helped me a lot at the time
communication in group. I had asked a lot of question relation to digital market and I have
answered them all properly. The weakness was mine is that I did not use STAR technique
to prepare examples and firstly I was nervous in making interaction.
Presentation- I have good presentation skill and this has helped me to do the things
effectively. I have communicated each thing about the presentation in well mode.
Therefore, I have used formal dress code so that I can look more professional and this can
help me to build good image. The one of the weakness of mine was that I did not use the
company and industry knowledge to support the answer provided (Guo, Wang and Wang,
2019).
Interview- I have performed very well as I have maintained the smile on my face and good
eye contact with the interviewer. Thus, I also maintained relaxed body level so that I can
be confident in front of them. I have also impressed the interviewer by asking the good
question at the end. Therefore, I respond to each question in structured mode with use of
examples. My core weakness is that I did not use STAR technique to prepare the
examples.
