INTRODUCTION
Organization in order to ensure a safe workplace must provide the employees with better
facilities at the work for performing their job roles. This assignment will include Australian
hardware company which is the one of the largest hardware retailers which is providing the
products for home-wares, garden supplies and building materials. This company is having is 138
stores and around 10000 staff members across the country. Moreover, This project will provide
understanding about Work health and safety management system for implementing it to Hobart,
Tasmania store. Furthermore, It will contain information about complaint and participation
arrangement for managing WHS. Also, It will provide information about procedures for
effectively identifying the hazards and controlling risk using the hierarchy of risk control. In
addition to this, This study will include about the Australian hardware WHS management system
and the benefits of involving a WHS expert.

procedure for safety and health of the employees in Australian Hardware (Ross, 2018).
Identification, Implementation and developing job roles
The management of Australian Hardware will look after the proper identification of various
safety roles and allocation of the responsibilities as officers, workers and volunteer's which will
help in improving the approval related to resources and developing suitable training programs

obligation that with WHS that they are not taking seriously its legal and ethical obligations for
providing safe working environment to its employees and also company is not following proper
safety standards (Ansary and Barua, 2015). Areas and types of injuries of such concern which
include that there is an manual lifting in outdoor furniture and in warehouses of hardware goods.
Therefore, to ensure work safety company have involved WHS experts which will review overall
work and compliance which followed in workplace of company.
Therefore, to maintain Australian hardware WHS management system, company must
have to motivate its workers to share relevant information about health and safety. In such
motivation company will provide effective opportunities so that each and every employee will

As per the work Safety Act and Health and Safety at Workplace Act, 1974, there are
certain policies and in house WHS legislations, that will help in proper assessment of the
business activities that will help in effective planning of business operations related to
maintenance of WHS of the people at the workplace. This will help in proper management of
regular reporting about safety standards and measures followed at the work place. The WHS
legislations like health and safety at Work Ac, 1974, management of Heath and safety at work
regulations 1999, The manual handling operation regulations 1992 etc will be fol;lowed within
the organisation that will help in proper assessment of safety measures.
On the other hand, in house safety regulations like control on substance hazard to helath
regulations 2002, Provision and use of work equipment's, 1988 and regulatory reform order,
2005 etc will be followed within an organisation that will help in suitable planning of business
operations and thus will lead a firm to maintain its safety measures and meeting needs of the
organisation at the work place (Rayan, Qurneh, Elayyan and Baker, 2016). It will help in proper
assessment of business operations and thus, will lead the firm to improve quality of services.
Various operation including the first aid details, chemical monitoring, supply and
utilization of the resources and other consultation records are been kept for the proper monitoring
of WHS management operations within the firm.

system that has helped in ensuring safety at the workplace. This system has helped in
