Abstract— the paper evaluates the use of the ERP system in
the contemporary world where the Enterprises have been
benefited from the attributed of this resource planning
systems. The ERP as an Enterprise system will evaluated so as
to understand the feasibility of the system or the ability of the
technology to create more beneficial environment for the
business organizations. The different forms of the ERP systems
that are generally used are evaluated. The software modules of
the ERP will be discussed along with the different trends in the
usage of the ERP.

I. INTRODUCTION (HEADING 1)
The Enterprise Resource Planning is referred to as the
technology innovation that has proved to be one of the most
efficient software systems that is able to provide more profit
to the business organizations in the modern and competitive
world. The main objective of the technology implementation
is to help the organization by assisting to take important and
crucial decision of the business organization. the technology
has proved to be highly efficient in making effective decision
on the factors of the organization like the cost saving plans,
improved collaborations, satisfied customer, well organized
analytics and improved version of inventory (Shen, Chen &
Wang, 2016). The organizations tends to implement the ERP
system so a s to conduct more efficient operation system.
The business process management based software enables
the organization to utilize the developed integrated
application system. This integrated application system helps
in managing the functions that are related to the delivering of
services by the technology service and human resource.
The report discusses about the aspects of the ERP
implementation and discusses the term ERP widely.
II. ERP IS AN ENTERPRISE APPLICATION
The ERP software is considered to be the kind of an
enterprise application which can be referred to as the
software designed application that is utilized by the
organizations for the virtue of analyzing the data sets along
with maintaining a track of the updates and the area that can
be mitigated (Tarhini et al., 2015).
Most of the business organizations that are implementing
and are using the technology known as the ERP systems are
implementing the system for the purpose of replacing the
primitive software so as to develop more effective and
efficient system for the business organizations. The maon
reasons are as follows:
Replacing the out dated ERP software.
Replacing primitive systems
Replacing the software used for accounting
purpose.
Replacing the other systems that does not have the
ERP system(Matende & Ogao, 2013)

IV. SOFTWARE MODULES OF ERP:
The ERP software has been evaluated where it is found
that the software comprises of different and several
software modules which are known as the enterprise
software modules. These enterprise software modules are
bought individually after assessing the requirement gap
of the industry or the business organization. The
technical capability of the organization makes or
demands the specific needs and then the ERP software
module is purchased (Tian & Xu, 2015). There are
significant ERP modules that are selected for selective
area of the business process. The business areas are the
product development, marketing and all the specific
areas.
The common ERP modules that are used in the
organization includes the planning of the product,
purchasing of the material, controlling the inventory,
accounting the money and resources in the back office,
maintaining the record for the human resource and the
finance. Therefore it is understood from the article that a
specific kind of business will tend to utilize a mixture or
the combination of different type of modules for the
purpose of managing the activities that are done in the
back office sector of organizations (Leon, 2014). The
tasks that are performed in the back office are as follows:
A. Process for distribution management.
B. The supply chain management
C. Changing and revising the process
D. Improving the accuracy rate of the financial data
E. Providing a course of better management of the facility
F. Introducing automation to the life cycle of the employee
G. Validating the critical business based procedures
H. Deduction of the redundant task form the organization

The basic need of utilizing or implementing the system of the
ERP in the business organization is to create only one
central repository for all information which is shared by
different ERP facets for the purpose of developing and
improving the flow of data within the organization
(Seethamraju, 2015).
V. DIFFERENT TRENDS IN ERP:
MOBILE ERP: the executives and the workers of the
organization need the real time access to the information
irrespective of the place or the location the employee is at
present. For conducting the prime processed of the business
structure, the mobile technology is needed to be
implemented with the ERP technology (Hoch & Dulebohn,
2013).
CLOUD ERP:
The cloud has upgraded to a huge extent especially in the
field of ERP implementation within the enterprises.
However, the people related to the business are keen for
replacing the data in the cloud storage. Those uncertainties
have slowly been diminishing.
SOCIAL ERP:
The vendors related to the business organizations have
linked the ERP technology with the social networks which
has resulted in increased customers or stakeholders to the
organization (Shaul & Tauber, 2013).
VI. CONCLUSIONS:
The report concludes that the ERP system is one of the most
vital introductions in the business organization for the sake
of creating more effective and efficient business
environment by the implementation of the technology. The
technology has the ability to assist the business structures to
take the decisions in the organization in respective to the
back office working and the transactional processes. The
new introduction of the technology in the ERP system is
also proving to be efficient in creating a more valuable
situation for the stakeholders of the organization.
