 Cisco System is an American multinational company which
is based on technology. The organization is headquartered
in San Jose, California.
 The organization is known to manufacture, and develop
various types of networking hardware, telecommunications
equipments and other types of high technology related
products and services (Raju and Mukun 2018).
 Few of the subsidiary brands owned by the company are
OpenDNS, WebEx, Jabber and Jasper.
 The organization came into existence on 2nd December 1984
by Leonard Bosack and Sandy Lerner who were computer
scientist previously.
 In the present days the company has gained a market
capitalization of $224 million dollars

 Competition – Cisco is facing various problem with the intense
competition from Alcatel-Lucent, Amazon Web Services and few other
companies.
 Volatile Market – The sales in the field of data centre and service
providers are not consistent with every quarter of the year. Also the
sales of routers and telecommunicating devices are attributing to the
change in business and economic conditions.

 Litigations – The organization is also facing different types of
problems with the Brazilian federal Tax authorities according to the
author *********** . The present authorities claim that approx $262
million dollars loss was charged to the company as a penalty.
 All these factors ha harmed the business organization’s brand image

 Growth In the Clouding Industry - According
to the author Raju and Mukun (2018)the
global cloud traffic is forecasted to have
grow three time from the year 2016. The
forecast has increased from 2.1 Zettabyte to
8.6 Zettabyte. By 2019 the cloud data
service is known to exceed to 83%. If the
organization is able to catch up the sector it
will be able to catapult the revenue and
profits earned.

 The tangible growth in the software market – The software defines networking
or the SDN and the network function virtualization NFV is expected to grow in
the recent years.
