Article 1:
In the article conducted by Dhukaram et al., (2018), the significant importance of
implementing Social technical system (STS) for the development of an organization in
association to establish effective working design by generating interaction between technology
and workforce in the complex workplace. The article accentuates certain complexities involved
within the provisions of higher education and how Social technical system and system thinking
approach can be implemented to understand the concept of educational ecosystem. To explain
the system thinking perspective associated with the article, assistance from the two case studies,
service and delivery of the Enterprise System Management (ESM) and development of European
Learner Mobility (EuroLM) has been considered. While describing the case scenario, various
ways in which the system thinking approach in associate with the STS, for instance, cognitive
work analysis and organizational changes can be utilized to capture the conceptual mode; of
educational system. This framework enables to understand the relationship and interaction
between technology, people, organizational and process.
Article 2:
The article conducted by Moon, (2007), focuses on exhibiting significant benefits of
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) framework for optimizing the management, transactional
and other business operations in an organization. The study focuses on explaining how with the
help of effective implementation of ERP system organization achieves success and its targeted
objectives in an easy and précised manner. Issues like cultural issues, project management nod
data quality are major issues and challenges faced by different sectors of industries, especially by
the IT sectors. Hence, from the study it can be observed that undertaking the ERP policies the
management system of the company is able to adhere to their roles and responsibilities while
mitigating common persisting issues. Thus, the articles exhibit different surveys and
investigations done on different sectors of business units to analysis how ERP systems and
policies can be implemented as per the requirements of changing business environment.
