INTRODUCTION
There are numerous changes in external environment likewise, policies of
government, taste and preferences of customers and economic condition of
country.
Company needs to conduct environment analysis in order to keep upgrade itself
with the changes that are happening in market.
Thus, plan appropriate method that could be used by organisation to cope up with
the situation to grow and sustain competitive advantages.
This presentation has consisted of information related to Marks and Spencer
which is operating food retail industry of United Kingdom in order to satisfied
needs and wants of customers in effective manner.

ABOUT COMPANY AND ITS COMPETITORS
Marks and Spencer is an British multinational company having its headquarter
at London, England which has started its operations in 1884.
Michael's marks and Thomas Spencer are two owners of the company that have
decided to run and operate the business with an motivate to earn higher
profitability.
Currently the company is having around 959 stores across UK and among
them 615 are related to selling of food products.
The company in order to promote its online food delivery services has made
joint venture with Ocado that has helped in expansion of business.
At the same time it can be stated that ASDA, ALDI and Tesco are some of the
competitors of Marks and Spencer that are operating in external environment to
delivered range of food products to customers.
