Along with the given land, an additional land of 34 hectares was purchased which iscommonly known as the Schischka Block. The park currently has 149 hectares of land and islocated in the coastal peninsula and is situated between the Waiwera and Puhoi rivers (Byrnes,2014). The area is an elevated forest headland and salt marshes.SWOT AnalysisStrengthThe strengths of the park are as follows:The park has protected cultural features along with archaeological sitesIt has extensive beach and river oriented features which permit recreational facilities forthe touristIt has an access to picnic areas and the views of the rivers, make it easy for the differenttourists to spend a day hereThere exists progressive underground power lines system which will assist the park toperform well (Anheier, 2014).WeaknessesThe primary weaknesses of the park as per the management plan are as follows:Inexperienced Management

2ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENTThe management which has been appointed to look after the park is not experienced andnot skilled enough to seek after the environmental hazards of the different activities and theirimpacts on various activities which the park will be conducting in order to attract grants andincrease its popularity among the different visitorsIncapability to manage the touristAs per the analysis, it can be observed that the park does not possess the capability tomanage the tourist footfall. Although it has successfully made various tourism plans, the parklacks the capability to convert those plans to reality.OpportunitiesWenderholm Regional Park needs to improve the online presence for the customersIt has the proper ability to expand the business and increase penetration of the customers Protection of the saline marshes as this will help in increasing the advance sales Increase of the required space for the walking areas of the dogs in the respectiveWenderholm Regional Park (Grant,2016)Establishment of the friends group in the park as this will improve the access to the park Recreational cycling needs to be introduced in the park as this can become opportunityfor them in enabling different park operations (Brooks,Heffner&Henderson, 2014)Threats The large number of tourists can be a threat for Wenderholm Regional Park as this candestroy the beauty and this can create damage to the park
