Introduction
 Environmental impacts on the human health

and can lead to cancers of the cornea
 Lowered immunity and high infection rates

Population measurement of health
 Measures have been described and formulated
to measure and describe the population
health. The effect of diseases burden often
entails the number of premature deaths in the
populations. Two parameters are often used
 Years of life lost due to premature
death(YLL)
 Years of life lived with disability (YLD)
