A construction project is usually awarded to a contractor. The primary duties of the contractor
include cost and time estimation .The sub constructors were subcontracted to perform the
following operations:
Estimation of the cost of the work.
Provision of subcontracted services like plumbing among others (Ismailos and Touchie
2017).
In the construction work of that was under supervision, the selection of the subcontractors that
were on the site was guided by the following criteria.

Construction materials availability, conditions review and authorized purchased(Salzer et al
2017). The selection of the materials for the construction sought the assistance of the experts
including civil engineers, architects, among others. In order to ensure that all the required
materials were available for the construction, quantity surveyor assistance was considered very
importance. It was through the pieces of advice from the quantity surveyor that the purchases
were made.

for accessibility on the Eastward area which is facing the adjacent main road. Biometric system
has been used with the details of the individuals accessing the site. Only those individual whose
details are in the database will have access to the sites. The visitors are to be issued with
‘Visitors Card’
