INTRODUCTIONThis present report will discuss the key issues facing by organisation. Further, theimportance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to strategy. The influence of Brexit onorganisation's operation will also include. The chosen organisation in the British Land CompanyPlc. It is one of the largest property development and investment companies in UK. Companywas founded in 1856 and its headquarters are located in London, England.TASKIssues that British Land Company is facing and along with recommendation.Employees are key to get success. It is very important that employees should remainhappy and satisfied with the company. British Land company is facing the issues of high labourturnover from last few years (Rowell, 2017). Company with high labour turnovers has manyproblems. The root causes of turnover must be discovered in order to reduce the number ofemployee leaving the organisation and seeking employment elsewhere. The influences ifemployee turnover is very important as its affect the entire productivity of organisation. It is veryimportant that employees should feel valued for the organisation. It is the duty of themanagement of British Land company that they should deal very effectively with the employeeturnover which are as follows-Offer Equitable and Modest Salaries- This is one of the most important retention toolsthat British land company should focus as it is the best way to engage the employee for long termbasis. If employees found that, another organisation is providing more salary for same work, itwill demotivate. Thus, management should offer equitable and modest salary. Democratic management theory- This is also most important management theory thatBritish Land Company could use for controlling the labour turnover within organisation. In thistheory, management used to take views and opinions of all the staff members in taking anddecision (Drake. and Gaudry, 2016). They used to involve all the employees in decision makingactivity as it motivate employees as well as increase the retention.Important to link Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to strategy.Corporate Social responsibility is the very wide term which is used to describe the effortsput by company in improving the society in some way.
