Equality 7-2521: It has been a long time since we met and it seems that you have changed quite
a lot than what you used to be.
International 4-8818: It might be brother. Since you left to carry on with your individualistic
research program we have been working here in different projects as assigned by the Council of
Vocations as they assign us.
Equality 7-2521: It is indeed a very pitiful thing for you to still work in that messy surrounding.
The life with full of collectivism has not been my cup of tea. This is why I went on to explore a
new life with individualism all around with Liberty 5-3000.
International 4-8818: Tell us something about your discovery for which you took those extreme
steps. That discovery had completely rattled the World Council of Scholars. They became so
furious to see your unauthorized research that they almost thought to break you into pieces and
throw you down to the gutter.
Equality 7-2521: Yes I know that very well my friend. I went to discover the metal tracks and
found electricity at the end of the ruins of the tunnel. This discovery had astonished me
completely as well. I realized that this was a discovery of the time when the individualism
existed in the world and the word ‘I’ was still being used. I fell in love with Liberty 5-3000 who
followed me to the forest. We began to live together in happiness as we had realized the essence
of individualism.
International 4-8818: Were you not at all afraid when the World Council of Scholars got so
furious and threatened you? We saw that you were trembling in fear but you were very much
confident to gain your grounds as well. We believed that you will not escape from the Palace of

Corrective Detention. They called you a ‘wretch’ and a ‘gutter cleaner’ and you still did not
come back.
Equality 7-2521: Yes my good friend. Have you noticed that I am using ‘I’ and ‘me’ to
communicate to you” It is all the result of my brave decision to present the discovery of
electricity in front of the World Council of Scholars. It would have been great if you followed
me as well. We could have built up a new world where we would have freedom and we would
not be bound by the chains of collectivism.
International 4-8818: We have no idea what you are talking about. In fact we have always
known that collectivism is the only way that exists in the world. The World Council of Scholars
had punished you and yet you did not give up your dream to carry on with your invention. We
must say that you have a great courage to hold on to what you believe in. We know it is good but
we suppose it is very hard out there for you to live in the forest with Liberty 5-3000 without your
fellow men.
Equality 7-2521: It is not at all like that my friend. In fact I am enjoying this kind of solitude
since I have felt I have not received the level of recognition that I deserve. The scholars did not
even appreciate my efforts of bringing the discovery of electricity in front of the civilization. I
am enjoying my life being individual and I am happy.
International 4-8818: Now we understand your point my friend. You had given a lot of effort in
this matter and the scholars were only scornful at you. We think you took the right step and you
moved out by transgressing. Bye my friend. Will meet you again!

Reflection:
Possessing a vast collection is not mandatory but it is important to have some knowledge
about important words, which could help in forming dialogues or different forms of writing. I
found it difficult to put in right words in my characters’ conversation because I lacked stronghold
on vocabulary. Moreover, I find it difficult to put in different words in a line and make it a
meaningful sentence. My problem is, I am unable to out to words, what I imagine and want to
express. In addition, I have a limited knowledge of figures of speech, which are important for
ornamenting any conversation or even simple dialogues. My writing style is more formal in tone
and hence, I find it difficult to write conversational sentences. I tend to conventional tone and
hence, committed mistakes while preparing dialogue for my characters. However, I have a learnt
a lot and hope to implement my newly gained knowledge about dialogue writing in future
projects.
