Main rationale of this project is to ascertain the response of companies towards actual
problem of equality as well as diversity at workplace (Bhattacharya, 2016). With the help of this
project, researcher can easily enhance their research skills which are data collection, literature
review, data analysis, time management etc. These skills are beneficial for investigator in
completion of full project systematically and effectively.
P2)
It is also known as project plan which is basically a document in written form that contain
information about the project scope and other important variables (Payne, Roden and Simister,
2019). Project management plan is used by researcher for following investigation on Aston
martin regarding the management of equality and diversity at workplace as it facilitates better
planning and strategy formulation to attain the desired objectives and targets on time. The main
concepts and elements of project management plan that are made by researcher for conducting
investigation on Aston martin is provided below:
Scope: This element describes the objectives are defined, developed, monitored,
controlled and verified. The scope of this research project is quite wide a well specified
objectives are set on the topic equality and diversity. Beside this use of various methodology are
also made to have effective montaging and control over the equality and efficiency of this
research project conducted on Aston martin.
Project cost- This aspect of project management plan is associated with the various
expenses and cost incurred over procurement of required resources and assets for research. For
conducting current research project an adequate amount of finance is needed by researcher. A
estimated budget is provided below that is providing information about various cost and
expenses related with this research project.
Cost break down Amount in GBP
Expense on data collection £ 60
Travelling cost £ 40
2

Cost of analysis effective resources £50
Amount needed for communication of
outcomes with stakeholders
£45
Many other costs £35
Total costs £230
Thus, the total forecasted cost for this research project is £230.
Time- This variable basically provides information about the time needed to complete an
investigation and to meet the desired objectives (Pramanik, Mondal and Haldar, 2019). It has
been estimated by the researcher that a time duration of 7 weeks is needed to complete this
research on Aston martin and in order to ensure punctual completion of this project better use of
Gantt chart and other statistical tool are made.
Quality- This variable of project management plan is associated with the quality of data
and information collected for the research project and the overall success of investigation is
dependent on this element. To maintain and enhance the viability and authenticity of collected
data for this research use of both primary and secondary data is made for this research project.
Communication- It is most important concept of a research to effectively transfer and
communicate research findings with stakeholder (Hillson, 2019). For purpose of communication
with stakeholders, effective channels are used by investigator that includes notice board, e-mails
and other online channels to communicate all relevant and required information with
stakeholders.
Risks- This section of project management plan basically reflects the possible barriers
and obstacles that can be faced during the investigation and hamper the performance. It has been
evaluated by the researcher that the risk that cam be faced while achievement of desired
objectives are mainly associated with insufficiency time and lack of adequate amount of
resources.
Resources- This concept provide data regarding the various assets, expertise, skills,
methodologies required to effectively accomplish a research project. To address objectives of
current research, effective communication and other interpersonal skills are need with expertise
in management work. Beside this, use of a range of resources like manpower, financial resource
3

and other statistical tools are also made for current research on Aston martin (Allaoui, Bourgault
and Pellerin, 2019).
P3)
WBS- It basically facilitates a deliverable-oriented hierarchical decomposition of various
activities and work associated with a research that lead to better accomplishment of research
objectives (Kozak-Holland and Procter, 2019). Use of such type of tool is made for current
research as it facilitates better understanding of project scope and objectives and lead to
hierarchical decomposition and bifurcation of all the work in small chunks and task that enhance
the efficiency of research project. WBS also lead to optimum use of resource through proper
bifurcation of assets and manpower into various tasks and activities.
Gantt chart- It is a most commonly applied project management plan that is used by a
researcher to have better illustration and presentation of project schedules and tasks (Payne,
Roden and Simister, 2019). Gantt chart is important for recent research work as it facilitates
more transparency and clarity in research work through properly scheduling all the activities and
task along with the their start and end dates. Therefore, use of Gantt chart lead to better
effectiveness and ensure timely completion of this project conducted on Aston martin.
