INTRODUCTION
Equality-and-diversity at the work place refers to the process which is used by the
organisation to treat every employees equally at the work place so that common gaols and
objective can be achieved within the set time period. Equality refers to treating people equally
at the work environment where as the diversity includes having employees from different places
and culture background (Bjorvatn and Wald, 2018). Under this assignment, the specsavers
organisation is chosen who undertake various training and development programs so to have
equality on the gender reassignment at the work place. The manager and leader of the
organisation carry out different research where they tries to understand the reaction of the
employees towards the gender reassignment so that they are able to treat everyone in the
organisation same way. These training and development section will helps the employees to
understand the choice of gender reassignment and how they must response to these condition at
the work related place. This organisation are able to understand the concept 0f the gender
reassignment and make sure that their worker handle such things which the better understanding
at the management level so that organisation mission and objectives can be achieved within the
set time period and with the effective manners.

P1 Project aims and objectives
Overview of the research topic:
Under this research , the specsavers company carry out the various training and
development opportunities to have equality and diversity on the gender reassignment at the work
place so that all the worker are given equal opportunity to perform in the given task and show
their skills and capabilities in the team and achieve the desire outcomes. Different kinds of
development programs are made where the training is given to employees to treat every
employees equally at the work in respect of their gender (Clancy, 2019). Equality in the
company is very important aspect to get success in the market place as employees will work at
their full potential.
Research aim:

“To investigate the impact of equality and diversity on training and development
opportunities of company on Gender reassignment”. A study on Specsavers company.
Research objectives:
To identify the role of equality and diversity at workplace in organization.
To determine the impact of gender reassignment on working performance of employees.
To explore the importance of training and development opportunities in preventing issues
of gender reassignment within the organization.
Research questions:
What is the role of equality and diversity at workplace in an organization?
What is the impact of gender reassignment on working performance of employees?
What is the importance of training and development opportunities in preventing issues of
gender reassignment within the organization?
P2 Project management plan
Project management plan refers to blueprint which shows all activities which are going to
be used during the project which also help investigator to understand the project in well efficient
manner. It involves all tasks, assignments which are linked with project and its overall process. A
PMP is time consuming process but is needed to adopted with proper considerations. It is wider
as well as broader concept which require deep level knowledge and level of understanding so
that decision are being made properly (Crane and et. al., 2019). It is responsibility of manager to
make ensure that everything is being done in most effective way. Also, PMP comprises of
various elements which are needed to understood properly & are mentioned below-
Scope: Scope is crucial element that is useful for explaining the scope of research on
business view. In relation with this research, it has been analysed that Specsavers have huge
scope for examining it’s opportunities that it possess. This also can be used as competitive
advantage which they can use in market to increase the sustainability of project for longer period
of time.
Resource: These are main parts of business as they help in finishing up the product. In
relevance with chosen firm, they require various resources such as assets, finance, labours,
employees, machinery etc. Without use of appropriate resources it is not possible for company
to reach to final output. Also, proper analysis is to be done so that whether resources are being
used in efficient way properly or not.

Time: It is refers to time required for achieving the tasks of project. Time is allotted for
achieving objectives of research. In relevance with research, it is concluded that researcher needs
approximately 4 months to work efficiently (de Aquino and Robertson, 2018). This is the
minimum time required for attaining research aims and objectives. It is duty of project manager
to assure that every task is being done on deadline.
Risk: Every project is associated with risk and requires a proper measures so that level of
risk is analysed properly. So, the main risk linked with project is use illegal transferring of
information to third party. Thus, it is needed to be examined in such a way that risks are faced
by project managers effectively. It require a deep analysis of project research. In relation with
chosen entity, they need to be active & aware so that decision making is done effectively.
Money: Every project need and require finance or money to run their activities properly.
In context with selected entity, they finance their capital from financial institution and estimated
cost of project is around $500k. Thus, money is to be used in most effective & also keeping f all
in and out transaction are required to be recorded with proper considerations.
Communication: It is known as way of transferring of information or message in proper
way which is needed for maintaining tasks in appropriate way. There are different way of
communicating such as mobile, text messages, e-mail etc. It is essential to use correct tools of
communication so that message is understand by both the parties without an problem or issues.
P3 WBS and a Gantt chart
Gantt chart: It is type of bar chart that define overall schedule of the project that
required to completing the project task and activities with out any issues and obstacles.
Furthermore, it also support in determining the project plan along with specified time duration.
With the assistance of this plan, investigator can complete all the task and make it more
successful (Fleming, 2019). One of the main benefit of preparing Gantt chart of to manage all the
certain links and task activities. This will directly contributes in keeping proper balance between
research activities and project schedule set by researcher for completing of project
