TASK 1SummaryIn the current era of globalization, it can be evaluated that motivation is considered as oneof the effective part in employee satisfaction. Therefore, it is essential for businesses to identifythe different ways of encouraging workers by providing them different benefits both in monetaryand non-monetary terms. It is considered as the problem which is faced by business and thus itneeds to be solved by employing effective means. Thus, it can be evaluated that implementingnon-monetary rewards or recognition is proven to be effective as it helps in motivatingworkforce to enhance their efficiency and attain organizational goals. However, the negative sideof introducing such non-monetary benefits is that it affects the workers and they became relaxedwhich decreases their efficiency. Therefore, it is essential for business to make another crucialplan in order to cope up with the prevailing situation in business. It is significant for each andevery business either NGO or MNC they need to adopt motivation principles in regard toencourage workers and improve their performance within firm. Management of firm needs to identify different types of recognition programs and rewardoptions that helps in satisfying the needs of workers and enhance the performance of workers.HR mangers within organization focuses upon identifying the different ways to improve theoperational effectiveness by employing current schemes, develop new ones and enhance thereward and recognition programs so that effective opportunity is provided to employees toenhance their efficiency and thus desired targets could be attained effectively and efficiency.However, applying non-monetary rewards faces serious issue within firm. Employee moralewithin firm may decrease due to many reasons such as narrowed focus, unethical behavior,increased risk taking, decreased cooperation and decreased intrinsic motivation. Thus, all theissues needs to be overcome and it could be avoided by implementing effective reward andrecognition programs so that desired goals can be attained. Top management of firm needs toreview all such programs and policies in regard to encourage workforce from time to time inregard to improve business performance.
