that have emerged over the period, as well as these theories continue to be discovered. These
theories include rational choice theory, social disorganization theory, strain theory, social control

This paper provides the overview of key theories that provide recommendation on crime control,

The crime can be reduced by following the crime prevention policies. The crime
prevention is very good attempt for reducing and deterring crimes as well as criminals. This is
implemented particularly to effort created by government to stop crime, enforce the laws, as well
as preserve the criminal justice. The environmental approach involves the situational crime
prevention methods as well as the broad urban planning schemes. The main purpose of this
approach is to change the physical surroundings for decreasing the chances of the crime. It
includes the situational approaches to crime prevention as well as broad planning initiative. It
also helps in reducing the crime by making as well as changing the physical surroundings for
reducing the chances for crime to take place. In the addition of this, the social approach puts

In conclusion, it is recommended to advance the operations of criminal control such as

response for victim of the hostility. The integration of violence prevention in the academic as
