Artificial Intelligence is playing a major role today in individuals lives as well as in
business. It is a simple way of making machines and computers thinking intelligently in a similar
way as humans. It has helped humans is many ways by simplifying their jobs and helping in
making predictions and taking decisions( Russell and Norvig., 2016 ). In this essay Artificial
intelligence and its applications will be explained and how it will benefit the future. It will also
be discussed that whether Artificial intelligence is a threat or an aid for the future with different
set of examples.
MAIN BODY
Artificial intelligence can simply be defined as intelligence demonstrated by computers
or machines. Machines or computer systems which can perform human task quickly and
accurately like speech recognition, different language translations, learning, knowledge
representation, visual perception, decision making and many more is artificial intelligence. Main
goal of AI is to create new technologies that allow machines and computer systems which
functions intelligently creating human work easy. AI is used in different fields making it easy for
humans to perform a particular task more easily and accurately. For example: Nowadays
Supercomputers are used by many organizations for various tasks like weather forecasting,
forecasting any natural disaster like earthquack etc. Nowadays AI systems are trying to surpass
human performance in solving various tasks and trying to teach them various things via machine
learning. Machine learning is a part of Artificial intelligence which learns from experiences or
previous data stored and make predictions based on the current existing data( Nilsson., 2014 ).
Artificial intelligence has affected every business, industry, city, consumers even
households in many possible ways, out of which few of them are: Automobile industry: this
industry has been affected in a better way as many vehicles in present are designed and are based
upon Artificial Intelligence. As it is already seen that nowadays many companies are trying to
create self driven cars however they do need a driver to control them. There is no doubt that in
future there will be self driven cars without any drivers. Recently Google has tried to create a self
driven car which do not need any driver or anyone else to control them. Today cars can also get
connected to many mobile applications like Apple Siri or google maps or GPS through which
cars can be driven directly towards any destinations without anyone's assistance( Charniak and
et.al., 2014 ). People can even travel anywhere anytime with the help of these devices installed in

organizations for designing any product or building or anything else( Zang and et.al., 2015 ).
Machine Learning: Artificial intelligence complete any task and machine learning is a subset of
it which enables machines to learn with the specific data present in the systems. With this
technology computers can automatically learn from, the data present and experiences without
any human interactions can be used in various purposes like prediction of any natural hazard in
time so that people can be warned and can get prepared for it. These data can be used for
business security systems which can secure any sensitive information. Deep learning is
implemented in machine learning. It can also be used to solve many important problems like
recognition of any image and sound. It cal also be used to predict any sales or services so that
they can make marketing actions for any business more easy and beneficial. Artificial
intelligence has also helped people to learn or translate any new or difficult language easily. If
any data is to be converted into any other language then it can be done easily and more
efficiently. It has also helped organizations to print any booklet or instruction manual in different
languages and that data is reliable and accurate and can be done without being cross
verified( Nourani and et.al., 2014 ).

it can be done( Cohen and Feigenbaum., 2014 ).

their diseases themselves by entering their disease symptoms for any common disease like cough

modelling is done of many human player games like Chess, monopoly etc. these games
nowadays can be played in mobiles or laptops with one player as computer. These games are
designed in such a way that it can be played with anyone where one wins and another loses.
